Yellow Door Assisted Living

My friend was at Yellow Door Assisted Living. The rooms were very nice and very well-appointed. They had hardwood floors. but the workers were terrible. They said they could deal with diabetic seniors and they had not one clue. It was a total nightmare. It was not a good experience. One was very abusive verbally and unwilling to help and there was no supervision at night. Casey was the only good worker they had. When she was there, everything ran like it was supposed to. The food wasn't well balanced. Certain foods were great and others were awful. One resident couldn't eat rice and they gave her rice every night, and she asked for mashed potatoes and they wouldn't give it to her. It's an old house, but it's beautiful. It could be a terrific place, but the owner doesn't pay attention and she told us that if there is a concern to please express it. I told her about certain things that the staff are doing, but she told me I was a liar and things like that.
