Ebenezer House LLC

We toured Ebenezer House. It was clean and bright. It was kind of tight but roomy enough for the residents. The level of care seemed to be okay. They only had one caretaker there for like eight people. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. She took me on a tour, and she explained everything. It was a residential home, so there was not too much they can offer in the form of amenities. They had a nice backyard, and they could have a barbecue back there. The bedroom sizes were adequate.

Ebenezer House LLC was friendly. I saw the caretaker there with the two clients. It just wouldn't fit my mother's needs. It was clean. I only saw two rooms and they were well-kept. It's a small residential community. The residents were just watching TV. There weren't any activities. It was the seating area that we walked into and then the dining area. It's like a dining room in a house. There's nothing spectacular that caught my attention. It's on kind of a main street. There were steps leading up to the front. I don't know if they had a ramp or anything in the back, but the place was OK. The caretaker there was fine. She was making every effort to get in touch with the person I was supposed to have the tour with, but that person wasn't there and that was it. The rooms were small and it was too far from where I lived anyway. The dining room was small. I did see a chairlift going up to the second floor.

I went to Ebenezer House. This was an unscripted visit, they didn't know I was coming. Everybody there seems happy. All the residents seem happy. One of the staff on duty was a little annoyed that they didn't know I was coming, that I can understand, but the person who runs it came down, and it was pleasant. I don't have anything bad to say about it. He was pleasant and professional and introduced me to everybody. They have a nice backyard. They had a porch with a couple of chairs on it if you want to sit.
