My sister is at The Legacy at English Station. It's new, clean, and close by. They have adequate staffing. They are caring and they treat the residents like their own family. They have weekly events. They have entertainment where they have someone come in and sing to them and do memory activities daily. They also play jazz and other music throughout the day. They have daily events for them and it changes. The food is excellent, too. It's gourmet quality.

Memory Care
Memory Impairment goes by many names, with Dementia and Alzheimer’s being the most common. It’s invisible, takes those we love away, and is frightening.
At Thrive, we have a devoted community of Resident Assistants who assist seniors with mild to advanced memory impairment.
These professionals understand that there is a person yearning for connection, relevance, and normalcy. Their impairment bewilders them and they are subject to a reality only they experience.
There are no cures for these impairments, but methods have been created which help Care Specialists align themselves with whatever the resident is experiencing. When successful, residents feel reassured, calm, and not so alone.
Our goal at Thrive is to enrich each memory impaired resident’s life with meaning and purpose whenever possible.
If you are unsure about the need for Memory Care, please contact us. We will provide an assessment to help you know the level of care you need for your senior family member

The Legacy at English Station was one of my favorites. It was all memory care, so everything was open. I loved the space that they had. They had three different hallways connected like a square, and in the middle of that, outside was a humongous courtyard that was all green space with trees and flowers. There they had little screened-in porches that had rocking chairs. I love the outdoor space. I love the interior, and I love the staff. The residents were outside walking, they were inside doing activities, and they were finishing up with their lunchtime. Pretty much any staff we walked by knew the residents by name, so that was nice. The one thing that my sister-in-law didn't like is they did not have pull cords. If they were to fall in the bathroom or they were to fall in their room, there wasn't a pull cord to alert somebody. That was the only downfall for my sister-in-law. Everything else was great. It was my favorite place out of all nine that we toured.

We ended up having my father at The Legacy at English Station. It was a good season for him. They have a wonderful area in the middle where they can go walk and that's very helpful for memory care being outside whenever they want. They understand very well memory care issues, and they don't restrict them in ways that would impair them even further. They were very attentive to him. I would've liked more communication on a regular manner about what care they were giving him and the kind of help that he was requiring week-to-week, and we didn't have that. It was something that we had to continue to ask about. Also, they ended up moving a whole group of them to another facility because COVID broke out in that area. My dad was the only one who ended up not testing positive for COVID and yet they moved him anyway, which really impaired him, and it has actually made him get a lot worse. It ended up being a difficult situation. At the beginning, it was very good, and there were lots of great people who worked there. If COVID didn't happen, I would rate them a four/five.

We have already chosen Clarity Pointe and my mother qualified for memory care, so she has been in there since September. We absolutely love it. It is very clean, people are on top of stuff, the caregivers just seem to love all the residents, and we have really enjoyed our stay here. It was clean when I went in; you could smell that it was clean. Of course it is new, but it didn’t smell like a nursing home. The rooms were a decent size, and the storage was very nice. I liked the schedule, which they did things with mother. The only thing I wish is that they would bathe her a little more often than what they do, but I understand that with so many people you can only do so much. However, she stays clean, and that is important.

I put mom in Clarity Pointe Louisville, and I’m quite pleased with it. I would highly recommend it. The staff seems very warm and caring. I really like the executive director. When I arrived there, I was at the end of my rope, and she was very approachable. My mother has nothing but positive things to say about them. The atmosphere is wonderful. There is an option to take them to doctors' appointments for an added fee. She’s gained six pounds in a month. They have activities every day, and the calendar looks quite full. When I first put her in there, they always had to get her out of her room, and now she’s sitting in the living area on her own. She’s quite pleased with it and very well cared for. The facility is lovely and immaculate. Clarity Pointe Louisville is just a few miles from my house. When I went there, I liked them so much, we decided to just go with them.

My father moved into Clarity Pointe back in July. This is a perfect fit for anyone who has a loved one with memory issues. The loving and caring staff go above and beyond making sure the residents feel at home. It is absolutely beautiful from the light and airy resident rooms to the common area that seems to be a gathering spot for the activities that they offer. One of the main attractions is the large outdoor enclosed courtyard for taking walks some activities or just sitting in the screened in porches for a friendly visit. It has been an excellent experience and very reassuring that our family has chosen the right place to take care of our father.

Clarity Pointe was very nice, and their management staff was very helpful. It was more of a memory care center, and my parents were at that point. They had a lot of activities, and the residents seemed happy with what they were doing. I liked it a lot. The rooms were nice. I think they had a central kitchen where they cook all the food, but then they had an area with a home-style kitchen and a dining area where everyone had to eat together. It was very nicely set up.

Clarity Pointe is brand new; the executive director has 23 years of experience in the market for assisted living. The staff really do a great job. It’s a beautiful place, it’s very well lit, and it has an inside courtyard. It’s an extremely caring place. However, the space is limited, and they’re going to take only 60 residents. The food is excellent. I’m happy to tell anybody about them.

Clarity Pointe was fine and brand new in a good location, but I just did not get a good feeling due in part to it being new but empty. I only met two staff members, and they were fine. Everything was very new. The rooms were fine. The price was in line with all of the others in Louisville.

My Aunt recently moved into Clarity Pointe. The facility is quite amazing! The park like setting, which allows residents to step outside in the safe and beautiful environment is fabulous. The resident apartments are beautifully decorated and the common area is warm, inviting and homelike. The Management Team and Staff obviously care very much about the residents and provide exceptional support to families. Activities are stimulating and outings occur on a regular basis. I wish I could rate this facility higher than 5 stars.
