I am currently a resident at Julies. This is my first experience at a facility and I couldn't ask for better care. Prior to coming here I was in a rehab center and when my Medicare ran out they were going to send me to a shelter. I didn't make enough money on SS TO QUALIFY FOR ASSISTED LIVING. While waiting for a cab to take me to the shelter Julie and her daughter-in-law came in and after explaining my situation they offered to accept me. GOD AT WORK. I just want to add that I'm a veteran, 72 yrs. old, legally blind and crippled from a bad hip replacement. The help I received up until I met Julie was deplorable.

Julie’s Retirement is a small facility with 6 to 8 patients. It has a home-like setting. They were all Alzheimer’s and dementia patients. They’re pretty friendly with each other and my mom has no complaints. They talk to each other whenever they can. The staff was very efficient and I have no complaints. They take care of the residents well. The residents are doing pretty well in their care. They have games that they play and they take the residents out. For the residents who can travel, they take them on field trips as well as to Walmart for shopping. They have a monthly list of activities. The facility is always well-kept. I am very happy with the facility.

Julie's Retirement Resort is very close to my house. My mom's been there a couple of times. The staff was personable, informed, and loving.
