We chose Sunny Days Assisted Living for my mom because the first one was that the director was willing to work with us before we got Medicaid approved for my mother at a discounted rate. He gave us a discounted rate. The second thing was that the room they had available for her had a private bathroom, although it was shared with someone else. That room has its own bathroom. Those were the two main factors for us to decide on putting her in this facility. They have to do more cleaning. They have been reorganizing their staff and they're shorthanded in some personnel, and that has to be improved. The food was acceptable. It's very good. We liked it. I love what I tried. They have done some activities with the residents, like playing with a ball and doing chair exercises. They have television. They do some arts and crafts. They're doing some coloring. They have a library. If they can read, they have books to read. The personnel that left was the activities coordinator. So, I'm not sure if they're going to replace this persona or not, but they have been doing some activities. Since she's been there, she's been doing much better.

My mom has moved into Sunny Days Assisted Living Facility. The place is very friendly, clean, organized and welcoming. The staff members are very friendly, caring and responsible. My mom has just started, so they're going to be putting her in occupational therapy. I know they have bingo and other activities there that she hasn't participated in yet because she has just moved in. She has a lovely room and she shared that with another roommate. They have their own private baths. It's very clean and very organized. Very positive, welcoming, and cheerful. I have not tried their food, but my mother says that the food is delicious. The staff members were good, and the facilities were very well maintained. My mom is enjoying the community.

Sunny Days Assisted Living seems very warm and familial. It seems like a community rather than a facility. The staff are very warm and personable. My dad is not there yet; we're going to try and get him in there. The apartment is small but cozy. In terms of cleanliness, maintenance and the community's physical condition seemed great.
