Our Mom is currently a lucky & happy resident. We are SO HAPPY for the care and attention she receives there. Previously, our Mom was at a large community memory care center and suffered many falls. Anyone who is a fall risk should be in a small care home with a high ratio of care. Having our Mom here has taken a HUGE worry off my mind! The home is stylish, colorful and wildly comfortable. They have a beautiful porch, take the residents on field trips. LOVE!!

When we started to look for places for mom this was the first place I toured and I new I found mom's home away from home. Francis and crew are very loving and caring people. They treated mom like family and we became family. This is a private facility and they give more quality time with your loved one then you will get in a nursing home. Mom was always clean dressed nice and her hair beautiful. If I had to do it all over again I would pick the Francis Ransom home again.

My mother was a resident of this facility. I appreciate Frances Giving my mother the best life possible for her to have during her last days. The environment is very friendly, and loving. They treated her like a family of their own, and now we are all family. I wasn't able to provide the necessary time for my mother, and if I had to do it all over again, this is where she would be again. The view of the facility is very appeasing to the eye from the front of the driveway all the way to the the backyard, palm tree vacation setting that offers a relaxing quiet time for the residents..there is a beautiful picnic area with beautiful tents that coordinate with the building as well. Frances Ransoms Facility is one like no other..visitation times are never refused and the communication between me and the Facility is very often and informational. I had no worries the whole time. The inside of the home Facility is laced with a very clean, quiet, Climate-controlled environment that is by far, one of the cozies places I had ever been. The residents are all in separate, very nice and quiet rooms with very clear handicap access for room and showering. There are doors that give each room their own privacy with tvs and my moms room was adjusted to her liking. After my first tour before admitting my mom, i hought that the price for living here would be an astronomical figure considering the quality of the service there. From the food to the personal cleaing care! They even learn to see what activities mom was into. They even had Bingo nicht woth her for her birthday! Its actually got me tearing up right now lol..I really appreciate this specifically because my mom was big on privacy and noise. After living at Frances Ransoms Adult Family Care Home, I had finally seen the smiles my family have been aiming to see for so long again from Mom. This fact alone assures me that she was well taken care of and she always talked about Frances and her staff, and how patient they always were with her. Thank you so so so much!! I could never repay you for you provided to my mom. My moms experience is what matters the most, and she was overly satisfied. God bless this facility and anyone who is considering to tour. Please go SEE FOR YOURSELF! I promise you won't be disappointed! I'll never forget this place ..wish you all the best again!

After visiting several assisted living facilities, we decided none were good enough for our mom. Then someone in the medical field told us about Ransom Adult Family Care Home. This is not a facility, this is a home with a family, and that's what set it apart from everything we visited. We felt the sincere love and compassion immediately. The house is spotless and the food is home cooked and served to family and residents. Having room for only four residents guaranteed my mom all the attention she deserved. My mom was always clean and always happy; all the residents were. Every one who visits is treated like family. We got to know the other residents and their families and we all became one big happy family. So if you're looking for a place where your loved one is taken care of with love 24 hrs a day, I highly recommend Ransom Adult Family Care Home !

I went to look at Frances Ransom Adult Family Care Home, and it was just a nightmare. It is assisted living, but it was definitely more of a nursing home. It's a private home. They took all the doors off and put curtains up, so there are no doors. Mostly, you have to share a room. You could not visit on Sundays. The other six days, you can only come for a short time at three different times of the day. You couldn't go at mealtime. The rooms were very tiny. They supply the furniture, and it was just random thrift shop furniture. You could not have anything but twin beds. It was the most expensive place I looked at. I asked to see the porch, and it was just like a little overhang that looked at a fence and some rusted furniture. I walked into a small living room, and there were four people sitting there. I don't think you could carry on a conversation with any of them. There was no dining room. There was no table for them to sit at together. The staff uses the hospital trays that you put over a bed in the hospital. They line all of those up in a hallway, and that's where people eat their meals. The lady tried to be extremely nice. It was like she was selling herself. It was predominantly family-run. I don't think it was well-staffed, not with professional people.
