I like everything about Seagrass Village of Port Orange. It was nice. The rooms were nice. We could get three meals a day. Good location. The people were nice and friendly. Everything seemed nice. Nothing wrong with it. Nothing was included in the room though. You have to bring your own stuff. But it would be enough for me. They got the stove, refrigerator, and air conditioning. Just no furniture. The lady who took me around was nice. She knew what she was talking about. She showed everything you need to know and answered all kinds of questions. It was a friendly atmosphere. I saw the menu and what they had looked good. Everything was nice and clean.

We have moved here to Seagrass Village of Port Orange. The community is pretty open. It offers very nice apartments, it offers three meals a day, and it's close to everything in Port Orange in terms of shopping, physicians, and veterinarians, and that's the reason we chose it. Every day the meal varies, all seven days a week. Generally, they have eggs, pancakes, and French toast, and they have it with bacon and sausage. They have fruits, coffee, and juices. They have a wide selection for all three meals, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The quality is excellent. They have all kinds of activities in terms of places to work out. They have movies. Every Friday afternoon, they have live entertainment. They have an open bar on Friday afternoons. It's called happy hour for an hour from 3:30 to 4:30 before the first evening meal. There are a lot of things here that are very positive that we like, and that's why we enjoy the place. The building is pleasantly appearing. It's multi-story. It's on the main road here in Port Orange. It's easily accessible to I-95 Main North-South Expressway here on the East Coast. So it's ideally located. Our son found it for us.

I toured Seagrass Village of Port. I liked almost everything about the open areas and what was provided. The only problem I had was the apartment had no storage whatsoever and I couldn't handle that without at least a walk-in closet. They were really good as far as the cleanliness. I tried the food and it was good. They had a library. They had a place where you could watch movies. I saw that they had a very nice pool. They had an area where you could grow something and they seemed interesting. Everything in the amenities and the common areas was fine. I just had a problem with the size but not the overall size. The tour guide was very good.

We moved into Seagrass Village of Port Orange. We find that it's better than the one that we were in in many different aspects, and we are very happy here. The food is excellent. The people here are very helpful and friendly. The staff is very good and very helpful, as well. They answer any questions you have. If you need help with something, they help you. The rooms here are all fine. It depends on whether you want a two-bedroom or a one-bedroom apartment. They help you with putting up stuff and whatever you need.

My mother has moved into Seagrass Village of Port Orange. It's somewhat similar to what she was in before. It's assisted living, but it doesn't have a nursing home feel. It's an apartment with a living room and a bedroom. It feels more independent, even though it's assisted living. They seem to have a lot of activities. They have Cheers Hour where they gather in the little open atrium and you can get wine or soda or something like that. I wasn't able to make it, but they had a Mother's Day tea yesterday. They do pool aerobics in the mornings. They have a theater room where they have a Wii in there and play games and stuff. The rooms are pretty big. Mom's got a lot more space than where she was in Mississippi. They have a nice small kitchenette area with a full-size refrigerator. They have a nice little balcony. They're very nice, clean, and spacious. They have a pool and they'll barbecue and stuff out there. They have a salon, a physical therapy room, a fitness room, a theater room, and a little bar area where they do that cheers thing up in the evening. The staff is good. I've been trying to get some medications for my mom, so they've been helping me navigate with the insurance and trying to get it covered. They got her set up with doctors that will come out to her. The nurses are very nice. Everyone's very nice, friendly, and helpful. The food is good. I've eaten lunch there a couple of times with her and we've had dinner, and the food is good. It's expensive, but most places are.

Seagrass Village of Port Orange was a very nice community. We were very impressed with it. It would be on the top of our list, if we were making a choice now. The only drawback is that in the past hurricanes we had here, their first floor was flooded out. It is concerning to me. Overall, it looked like a very well operated community. They showed the 1-bedroom and the 2-bedroom units. They were quite nice. They showed us all of the common areas, from the dining room to the exercise room. It looked like they have an adequate amount of activities. They had everything that one would want.

My Mother lives at Seagrass and she absolutely loves it! If you are looking for a beautiful, safe place for your loved one you need to check out Seagrass. The staff members here are always so friendly and willing to help. The activities personnel are always so cheery! I have eaten there many times and the food is always fresh and delicious. She has a 1 bedroom apt. it is very spacious.

If I were to move my sister out of the place where she's at, I would go to Seagrass Village of Port Orange. They just did not have the room available for her at the time we toured it, and I was in need to get her moved quickly. Overall, it was excellent. I would have moved her there if they had the capability of taking her. They're very nice people. It's a beautiful complex. It's very open, very airy, there's a lot of light, very modern, and updated. It's a very nice facility. They have an outdoor courtyard, a walking path, a pool, a lanai, a fitness room, and a library. It was very clean.

Seagrass Village of Port Orange was beautiful. We liked the open spaces and the very nice dining room they had. The problem was there was no closet space and the refrigerator was too tiny. Other than that, they were all very helpful and very kind. The food was well presented and it tasted good. They had a gym, a salon, a small pool, and some sitting areas. Everything was very, very nice.

Administrative staff and management leaves a lot to be desired by any family looking to choose this facility for a family member. Non responsive to calls emails or requested feedback. Continued to increase costs over and over during my father in law’s residency up to his passing. Charged additional fees after his death for services not provided the last month of his residency. It’s all about the money and the maximum they can squeeze out of residents with limited value for care provided.

The girl in charge of Seagrass Village of Port Orange was very pleasant and gave a lot of good ideas. I know sometimes this sounds a little snobbish, but everyone was dining in the same room. Assisted living and independent living were all dining in the same room. Also, the whole facility was located in a very high-traffic community. It was right by Lowe's and all the traffic on the roadway and everything. It was in a high traffic area, so that was not appealing to me, but the facilities themselves were very nice, very neat, clean, and well decorated, and the staff was very friendly. Just the high traffic area was a big thing to me because we live in a gated community, so we don't have a lot of traffic on our roads. They showed us everything. They showed us all around the whole community.

We went to the Seagrass Village of Port Orange. The facility was nice, the apartment was nice, everything was beautiful, the grounds were beautiful, the amenities were good. My dad's whole goal is to be a little more social and have that opportunity. And that was the part that probably moved us to another place. I didn't see a lot of people hanging out together in the common areas. I did see some people, but they weren't congregating. They weren't interacting with one another.

Seagrass Village of Port Orange is brand new, so that was nice. It was very contemporary like the more current color paint scheme, very elegant, very nice looking, but the balconies were way too small, and they weren't screened in. The closets were zero space, so that was awful, and the views were not good. However, as far as the paint scheme, the lighting and the décor were all nice. The person who gave me the tour was very upbeat.

My sister-in-law placed a deposit with Seagrass Village of Port Orange. It's close to me. The person who took us on the tour, Holly, was very informative. She even said that she does some decorating herself and she has helped several clients to go shopping for furniture there locally and help them decorate their apartments. She even said she would be available for my sister-in-law and that excited her. So she was very accommodating in that respect. I just like the fact that it was new and, well, within two years old. I like the fact that it had many restrooms, even just on the floors from different activity rooms. We met, I think, two or three of the people and talked with one at length. We saw her the next day when we went there, too, and we talked to her at length and she was quite pleased she had the tour guide to help her decorate her room. These people just were very positive. They looked like people that she would like to make as friends, and they were older, around her age, so these were all the positives as far as the people she met. We were visiting the spa areas, the activity rooms, where they play games, where they have racing or what, but there's some kind of a special room. Of course, there was also the fitness center and located very close to it was another nice restaurant. I do believe they have a pool, so that was a nice amenity for her. She would be glad to have a pool for exercising because she's had shoulder and knee replacements. And so aqua therapy would be good for her. And of course, the spa, like I said, was very, very nice. I believe there was a hair salon there as well. The eating areas were very nice, colorful, and cheerful.

Seagrass Village of Port Orange was very nice, but a little over my price range. Their employees did a good job at what they were doing. I had to just wait quite a while for the receptionist there to get a hold of them. They are still tied up with their Covid procedures. We went to their dining facility and looked around. We were there before lunch, so they were running bingo in there at the time. They give you copies of their menu in the package that they present. Their serving area looked good. The layout was an awful. It was a long walk down the hallways to the apartments. It was pouring down rain during my visit, and it was impossible to go outside their facility. It is a new facility though and very well kept.

My friend moved into Seagrass Village of Port Orange last March. I've been there, and I just got back last week. There was a lot of local stuff available in the surrounding few blocks that he can go to in a scooter. The facility is fairly new. It's in a great location, it's very nice, the people were absolutely fantastic, and they get fairly high marks from me for helping him with everything. The room was very nice; it's roomy. He has a bedroom, a beautiful kitchen, a bathroom, and a nice little balcony where he can sit outside in the sun. The dining area is beautiful. A lot of tables are set up where people come in and dine, and he's certainly enjoying the food. I just talked to him fifteen minutes ago, and he said the food is good, and the people are good. He has nothing but praise for them.

I toured Seagrass Village and I liked it. Before I go someplace, I really want to know what the rooms look like and there's a lot of good points there that I like. They would also give me the freedom to come and go as I please. Robyn was very good and everything, but I would want to also go and see what the menu is like and see what the people are like or if I fit in with the group. The place looked like a resort hotel. I used to travel a lot and I'd stay in Marriott and it looked more of that. They had all the amenities and the staff was all nice. They have a pool, a dining room, a gym, a TV room, they have transportation.

My mother moved into Seagrass Village of Port Orange. She has been there several months now and she is absolutely totally pleased with everything -- the facility, the price, and the care she is getting. She is doing independent living, so she does not need a lot of care. They are a little strict, but we were already able to take her out. She has her regular checks, and she got her shots the other day. We have not had any meals there yet (they have some restrictions on that), but they do have a happy hour every day, and we have been able to join them for one or two of those. I think the first day we were there, they made lunch for us, but they brought it down to her room, so we ate in her room. She is very happy with the food for the most part. The facility is top-notch all the way; they have everything there. For activities, they do karaoke, they have a swimming pool, they have entertainment like singing and dancing for the residents, and they have shows and parties. Right now we are paying $3500 and if she needs more help, they kick that up a little bit or get her to assisted living. They also have a memory care unit, I guess. Comparing their price with the places around here, theirs seems competitive. Hers is not just a room, it's a beautiful one-bedroom apartment. She has a full kitchen, a sitting area, a living room, a patio, a good-sized bedroom, and a very nice bath. It's a handicap-friendly bathroom with everything she needs, like a walker and things like that. It's really good.

My mother now lives in Seagrass Village of Port Orange. It's the best place in the world that my mother could be. We're both so happy with it. It's so beautiful and clean, and everyone that works there is really caring. She enjoys karaoke, they do tie dye with her, watch movies, they're wonderful. She said that the food is marvelous.

Seagrass Village of Port Orange didn't have much land associated with it. It's just one building. The eating area was excellent and it's set up like a restaurant. The exercise facility was excellent. It's close to a number of stores, which were all within walking distance. It's excellent overall. The rooms were adequate and well maintained. The staff was excellent. It's a brand-new facility.
