The room that my husband is in is very nice but the bathroom sometimes smells, I know that his room does get clean. The nursing staff are very nice for the ones that I have met. The staff checks on the clients to make sure that they are well taken care of, I will admit some of the residents gives them a hard way to go sometimes but never the less the staff are kind.

I was left a message about my parent's financials. I called back to inquired why they had an interest in my parent's financials. Nancy told me that the hospital was placing him into this facility without my knowledge. I was very surprised as you would be and said to Nancy that I had no intentions of moving him from the hospital? I was not aware. She told me they contacted her ( the admissions office at BH) then rudely hung up on me. I am not confident enough that my parent with dementia will be in caring hands from the nurses and staff if the administration personnel has a very frightening disposition I would never want my parent to be "Hung Up' on in a sense if they needed something to promote wellness.

Although the building could use a few updates, I feel the overall care is great. The patients are well cared and appear happy. To me the care is what really matters. It's a really good place.

I have been in this facility for over a year. Most of the aids are rude and disrespectful . I am scheduled to be discharged at the end of the week. This will have been the worst time of my life! The food is horrible.

I found the staff at the Arden House to be very kind and caring. My aunt had dementia and became quite difficult to deal with. The staff did a good job meeting her needs. The place itself was fairly clean and well kept. However, with so many residents, and not enough staff, the floor had that "old person smell."There was a good physical therapy department, and a place for residents to get their hair done. The staff scheduled daily activities for residents and everyone's birthday was remembered. Holidays were also celebrated. There was a lovely courtyard where people could sit, they also held events there. The television room had a piano and places for families to gather, it was quite nice. The food was not that good, typical hospital fare.
