"Charter Senior Living of Orange is absolutely beautiful. It has plenty of options for what kind of room, how much care you need, and how big a place you need. However, it was a little over the budget at the time, with what Mom wanted to spend or what she was expecting, so it was a bit of a sticker shock, and so Mom kind of got cold feet with the whole thing. The people who were running the tour were great. They were fine. They did a great job. They showed us everything we needed to see and told us everything we needed to find out. The place was only a couple of years old; it was just a great place."

"The Village at Kensington Place was a very comfortable place. The staff was very friendly. The living quarters were nice. They had a lot of activities and stuff. They had bingo, card playing, exercising, cooking classes, and movie nights."

"I like Motif by Monarch. It's very nice. It fits my needs. The location was great. The people there were great. The activities seemed to be good. It's an A-plus. They had a library and a gathering room with a bar, and that was nice. They can eat outdoors in good weather. Some of the rooms have a kitchen, and some of them don't, so it depends on what you need. I only interacted with one employee and she was very nice and very informative. She did a good job explaining everything to me. She was very knowledgeable."

"Spring Meadows by Monarch was very clean and very nice. The people were very friendly, helpful, and gave a lot of information. They had a lot of cool things that they were doing with the residents. They had nice grounds that they could walk around, a courtyard, some gardens that they could work in, a gym, and trips to the market."

"Old Glory Days was wonderful. It was beautiful. It was very clean. I liked it because it was open. I didn't like it because there were a lot of stairs. They were very expensive, too. The staff was very down-to-earth and neat. It's a converted old house. I wouldn't recommend it unless you lived in town, and if you had a lot of money and you were by yourself. I don't think it was good for a couple. It was very well put together. It was nicely painted inside."

The units were very, very nice. We looked at a studio and a single room and they were actually really, really nice. They got everything you would need."
