The staff were very friendly there. His wife passed away earlier that year and he didn't have any children, so some of us from the office would occasionally visit him as much as possible. He didn't leave his apartment much, but he expressed that he enjoyed being there. His spirits were never down. The living areas weren't too big, but he had everything he needed. They gave him rides to church every Sunday and took him to run errands weekly. He didn't live there for more than four months, but I think he enjoyed it. It was always really clean when we went. They kept the grounds up and they had lots of pretty flowers when you first walk on the premises. He told me they offered community activities and had a really big banquet room for family get-togethers. They came by and picked up his laundry once a week and they'd wash it and drop it off to him. They even cooked weekly meals around lunch time for all the residence at no extra charge, but because he didn't have any family, one of the cooks would bring him a special lunch on weekends too, just because. I know for certain that he enjoyed staying there.
