"My mother really likes Valencia Commons. It's the one where she thinks she would fit in the most. It was priced reasonably and she likes the fact that it has a lot of variety of rooms when family comes to visit. They had a pool table room; they had a TV room. They had a library; they had a little chapel. She really liked that. She felt like it was more homey. The staff was very accommodating, very nice and they answered all our questions. "

"Cadence at Rancho Cucamonga was a very close second place to the facility we chose. It's a newer facility, but very well kept and appeared to be very nice. We visited Cadence a couple of times and the first time we were there, I was not pleased with the COVID restrictions I received there. The fear that I've had is putting my loved ones in a facility that decides to just run blindfolded into something they don't understand and prevent me from seeing my loved ones. I think that will be getting better, but that was something that we weighed on when we made our overall decision. The rooms were a little tighter than we would have preferred for two people, but they were very nice. The facility itself was very nice as well. The food was very good. We dealt with Terrie, and I was very impressed with her. She was extremely nice, answered all of our questions, and did a phenomenal job. She was great. Their activities and outdoor area were very good. They did not have the swimming pool, but they had everything else that we were interested in. They had a very nice theater room where they could gather and watch movies and things like that. The craft area was nice. They had a schedule laid out with all the activities and things well in advance so they could make plans to be there. We were impressed with Cadence, the staff, the facility, and the food. I think they had the best food we were able to try in any of the facilities we went to."

"We went to look here, it's brand new, it's beautiful, and they have a very nice staff. It was very luxurious and very nice. They had a very nice exercise room and a beauty parlor."

"My husband has moved into Clearwater at Glendora. We really like all that the facility has to offer. They offered special move-in rates, which were unbelievable. They just seemed really caring and helpful. When making the decision and moving in, it was a no brainer. I saw their movie room, their weight room, their bar, and their restaurant. I have tried their food and it was delicious. In terms of upkeep, it's super clean and upkept really well."

"It is a very nice place, and it's very clean, modern, and upgraded. The staff is very nice, the dining room is huge, and the rooms that they have -- even the studios -- are good sizes. It was elegant. I would recommend it to anyone. "

"My aunt and uncle moved to Bayshire Yorba Linda. They can accommodate a lot of things. The grounds are kept clean and the atmosphere is very inviting. It was very spacious. It didn't seem like everything was kind of crammed in. The people that we met there were very helpful and very kind. We haven't run into any problems as far as helping my aunt and uncle. The food is very good. My uncle is not as social as my aunt. Even within memory care, they have a lot of activities to stimulate their brain, and to keep them busy. We've been very happy with the available activities. The value of memory care is awesome. It's pretty reasonable."

"My father is enjoying his time here. He appreciates the staff and they're all very kind and helpful. The facility has everything he needs and he enjoys the library. The rooms are large and a good size. His room didn't come furnished, so we had to bring stuff in, which was nice because we got to get him exactly what would work for him. It's more of an apartment. They have two large dining rooms so they can accommodate all the residents at the same time. They have a library."

"I'll be moving into The Meridian at Anaheim Hills this weekend. I saw the rooms, but I think they're a little pricey. They have an ice cream parlor and a pizzeria. They showed us the gym but nobody was there. The staff was very informative."

"Dad has been here since July 25th. Everything is good as well as with the staff. It is comfortable. However, we choose it because of the residents. They talk to me. They are just happy and you can see that in the place. He has a private room, which is very large. It has two sides to it with a living area, a bedroom area, bathroom, a little refrigerator and it has a walk-in closet. It is very nice. He goes to exercise classes, educational classes, and weekly outings. The food there is great."

"Vista Corona Senior Living was kind of quiet. I walked in the hallway, and everybody was so nice. The room was kind of small, though. They have amenities. I don't know about the gym, but I went to their library. The dining area was pretty good. They had small entertainment. There was a band that went to the place playing a bit."

"Corona RCFE was very nice, and the people were very friendly. The grounds were good. The room is perfect for my mother who is 92. She just needs a room with a little bed, a chair, and a TV. That's all she needs. It looks like she can go out and go to the dining room area, and things like that, and they have those things available too. The staff who helped me was very friendly and answered all the questions. She was very good. I didn't sample the food, but the dining area was fine. For activities, they have a little room where people can go and they can meet with each other and play games and so on, so that's fine."

"Emerald Court was very nice, and it is independent living too. A lot of places are just assisted living. I was very impressed because they showed me an apartment, a 1-bedroom apartment, 550 square feet, and it was very nice. It has lots of closet spaces and a wonderful small full kitchen. A lot of places don't have that. It's $3,300 a month, and that's really reasonable. When it comes to having a pet, there's this one place I heard about; they need $500 one time and then $25 a month for it. Emerald doesn't do that. There's no upfront fee to have a pet. They have a nice little dog park there. They have memory care and assisted care, on top of the independent living. It's very nice. They have a full-time 24-hour kitchen for dining, and a little bistro. It was very impressive. I like independent living because that's really what I'm looking for. Emerald Court didn't really have individual yards for people. I think there was one section for assisted living that did, but the yard was really tiny."

"It has skilled nursing, assisted living, and independent living. I had been in the skilled nursing part following several surgeries and so I'm aware of this community. It is right downtown, which is close to where I work. The apartment that I'm looking at is very nice. It is a 1-bedroom apartment, all services are provided except for assistance. The person who gave me the tour was very good. When I was in skilled nursing, food was fine. They are varied and you have alternatives. They also have outings and themed days. I am aware of the activities because when I would go down to rehab, I would see the activity sheet. They also have a van that would take the residents out shopping."

"Walnut Village is a high-end luxury buy-in. It is an equity purchase, so you have to buy your way in there. It’s $3,000 - $5,000 on the minimum every month in addition to the purchase. The apartments were excellent, very nice, medium sized, not huge or anything like that. But it is very upscale, and they have got tremendous eating facilities. They have a memory care, and they even got a total rehab side. "
