Glen Creek Villa was a nice place. The gentleman during the tour was very nice and very accommodating, but it seemed like when I was talking to him, the cost of taking care of my mother kind of went up, so that kind of put me off. The people that are taking care of the residents live in it. It was like a home. It felt comfortable, but the price wasn't right. It didn't have a vibe like the other place. My mom requires a high level of care and I don't think that they are ready to step up and take care of her. Just the vibe I got from them was kind of weird. The other thing that kind of threw me off is they didn't have any room. There are like two patients that were on hospice and they're kind of waiting for them to transition to open a spot for my mom. It was sort of interesting that I went on a tour but there's actually no room for my mother and then as we were talking, the price was going up. It was a different feel than what I got from the other place. It was very nice, very clean, and it looked like somebody's house. My mom would've liked that, too. It would've been very comfortable. They had a deck to sit out back, a TV room kind of a lounge room, and a nice bathroom.
