I visited my friend at Sunrise of Fair Oaks and I had lunch in the dining hall with her. I liked that it smelled nice. The decorations and the furnishings were nice. Most of all, she really liked it. The staff was very friendly. We got to meet a lot of people, and they stopped to take time to talk to us. I liked that there was a choice for the food. The facility appeared very clean. It was very beautiful. It had a nice setting and nice landscaping with the trees, which I liked. There were lots of activities to choose from. They had exercises, bingo, movies, and puzzles. They had a library. They also had excursions where they could go do things away from the facility. I would recommend it because my friend likes it there, and to me, the biggest referral is when a resident says they like it.

My mother is in Sunrise of Fair Oaks CA. The staff is very helpful. It's small enough for her to navigate around there. They have just been wonderful. They have activities. They have meals that they prepare for them. They have housekeeping. They have an attendant that gets her up in the morning. If she needs a shower, they give her a shower. They just do everything for her, and all her needs are met. We got really lucky with her room. It's a studio and is on the second floor. It has two large windows overlooking the patio. There are trees, and it's just a beautiful view looking out her room. It has lots of light. It's one of the primo rooms that just opened up for a studio. There's a place where she can get her hair done and her nails done. There is a movie room and an activity room. The price is right there with everybody else.

I toured Sunrise of Fair Oaks. It was excellent, very small, very well kept, and it seemed like a lovely place for somebody to put their family member. The staff was very knowledgeable, answered my questions honestly, and had no problem with answering any question that I asked, including a couple of challenging questions with regard to diversity. We walked past the area that would be where people would get food. There were some people, some seniors, sitting at a table. I did not see how the food was prepared or anything like that, but we saw seniors talking, eating, or getting some refreshments. We loved the rooms that they showed us. They were very large and very comfortable looking. I could easily see somebody bringing their belongings and making a nice little studio apartment or something for themselves. It's nice and bright with nice windows, and a lot of natural light in. Very well appointed, very comfortable looking place. They seemed to have a maintenance person that was on top of everything, keeping things all together, and making sure that everything was very nice. I didn't see anything that looked out of place. They do take the seniors out on maybe like a group tour.

Everything about Sunrise of Fair Oaks was great. It was decorated very nice. It seemed very homelike, and the people were very nice. They took my temperature. They checked my vaccination card, and they were all wearing masks. It just seemed very clean. One thing I liked about there is they had pets there. Some people had dogs. There were some cats outside, and they had a bunny. I looked at the menu, and it seemed good. I talked to the chef, and he seemed very knowledgeable and caring.

Sunrise of Fair Oaks is light and bright inside. They have various activity areas, and the room was spacious. They also have a van where they take the residents out on scenic drives. The people were friendly. It was a two-story building, they have stairs, and they have an elevator. They have lots of options for activities. The facility was well-kept, clean, the rooms were decent-sized, and it was well-maintained. I commented to her how new it looked, and she said that it's 20-years-old. They have a lot of windows too.

Absolutely beautiful community. Care staff looked so happy. Residents well cared for. It’s a little pricey but you pay for what you get. I’ll be returning.

This facility promises alot delivers next to nothing. Their in house doctor turned out to be a nurse practitioner, their activities posted on the board are not carried out, lack of communication among staff, lack of documentation among staff, yelling and whining throughout the night and during the day, residents parked in front of tv most of the time, gourmet meals promised but school cafeteria meals served, lack of proper mental stimulation, promises made but not carried through, all of this leading to an unwillingness to continue living.

We loved Sunrise of Fair Oaks. It was clean, and the facilities were good. The employees were very friendly and the sales people were very nice. They have lots of activities. When I walked in, the residents were playing what looked like badminton. Also, they can get on a bus and go to different places. They gave us a calendar of where they could go on different dates.

Sunrise of Fair Oaks has over promised and under delivered in the care of our mom. They continually lacked to care for my mom's hygiene and also her pet which were both handsomely paid for. Family worked to correct the problem to no avail, so we moved mom out. This place is beautiful on the outside, but beauty is only skin deep. Shame on SOFO for the lack of care, at the stage of life when a person needs to depend on others.

Sunrise of Fair Oaks didn’t have any room, but it was a very nice place. It’s in a very crowded and busy corner, and there’s not much walking path. If it was for my mother, it would be perfect, but not for my husband.

The tour at Sunrise was nice, and the person who took us on the tour was very nice. However, it was small and cramped, and the residents were very nice, but were not as engaged. They were sleeping in the lobby or the TV room. The food wasn't very good, the gathering rooms were a bit small and felt cramped, and the apartments were small. It wasn't the right fit for my mother.

Sunrise of Fair Oaks was neat, clean, fairly happy, and pretty upbeat. The people who were staying there looked like they were happy. I did talk to one person in there. I remember her pretty well. She was having a little trouble getting the laundry, so I gave her a hand because I was there. The employee who came to help her actually thanked me. It seemed nice, but it was not an area I would want to be in. However, it was surprisingly nice and comfortable. People were pretty relaxed, and I saw a lot of smiles which was a good thing. The staff seemed good. I talked to only one person but saw others. The people living there were doing well with the employees, and the employees were having conversations with them.

Sunrise of Fair Oaks was small, very homey, and really seemed like you're in a home. The staff was wonderful and really build bonds with the people. The bathing facilities seemed like a spa. The food looked really good. The bedroom doors were left open whereas where my mom’s at now, they lock the bedroom doors. I saw them playing ball with the residents.

My mother-in-law is in Sunrise of Fair Oaks right now, and she has a lot more financial resources. It is really a 5-star facility. It's much more expensive than where my other mother-in-law is. The thing that I'm impressed the most about it is the professionalism of the staff. The rooms are quite lovely, high ceiling, crown molding, and very updated. She is served her meals in her room, and the food is quite good.

Sunrise was very good all the way around -- the staff, the meals, and the rooms. It was very nice. The grounds were not bad. There was a small parking area in front. The staff was very good too. They also have a variety of activities. They even take you to field trips.

I had a great experience at Sunrise of Fair Oaks. They had very professional staff. It was beautiful. It was also a very new place, and it was very clean. It was just a little bit too expensive.

My mother-in-law was at Fair Oaks for months. It’s very nice, and the food was mediocre. The facility is very near our house, and it is very secure and safe.

Sunrise of Fair Oaks was more upscale. Their kitchen was set up like a restaurant where you could order from a menu. The caregivers would change aprons and they were food servers, they really accommodated the residents when they came down at different times, and they'd still pretty much give them what they wanted; I liked that. They had rooms that were studios, and they had a variety of setups as far as their living space. They offered a lot of activities, and their calendar looked really full.

Sunrise is very nice outside and inside. It’s a smaller facility as supposed to a larger facility. I think there are maybe 60 or 70 people in the non-memory-care, and the executive director is excellent. Mom is getting very good care there. The nursing staff is very good and attentive. They call me for everything; they are very in good in terms of structure. I am very happy with their level of service and the way they are treating my mother. They are not inexpensive, but she is getting very good care there. They have some word games, outings, restaurants, and movies. They truly take care to make her happy.

Sunrise of Fair Oaks was very nice. The people there seemed very nice, but I didn't like it because she had to go either up and down the stairs or an elevator to get to dinner. It looked very clean and it seemed very nice. It was quite a distance from where I live, so as far as the location, it was not ideal, but it was nice aside from that. The rooms were a lot larger than the one my mom is in, but it didn't really matter. I mean, they had almost a full kitchen and a larger refrigerator, but we weren’t interested in that kind of thing. We didn't care if she had that or not. I am sure they had similar activities, but I don't really know. Once I got there and realized that she had to go in an elevator and it was kind of a distance, I didn't investigate it too deeply. But they did have activities, that I know.

Upon entering the facility it seemed well staffed and very clean. There where residents walking around, residents watching tv, and there where also many residents playing bingo with the assistance of some caregivers. I noticed caregivers assisting some of the folks to the bathroom as well. In the dinning room there where several staff members setting up for lunch. I took a tour of the rooms which seemed nice enough for what my Grandma needed. There was a bathroom, shower in each room. Also a window over looking the garden area. They even had a house dog that ran around the building. The residents really seemed to enjoy this. The Director of the facility took the time to meet with me, even though I showed up without an appointment. MY overall opinion of the facility is that it really seemed wonderful. Unfortunatly it was very expensive and not something I can afford for long term for my Grandma
