Almond Home Care is excellent; that would have been our choice for my mother-in-law. It was a home in a residential neighborhood. It's very nice, and it has a nice backyard that's like a hangout area with a patio. We felt comfortable when we went outside and sat there; it was nice. They had mixed male and female residents in the house. They have one shared room option and private rooms. The owner gave us the tour. She was super accommodating and super friendly. She gave us a lot of information, and we enjoyed it. I think they can accommodate up to six residents. She showed us the kitchen and the rooms with the bathrooms. They had modifications that they had done. They also explained what they do and how the home runs. The main thing I could say, more than the physical aspect of it, was the very warm and welcoming feeling. It was more about the feeling for me.
