I have lived in Oceana Original for 2 years. Don’t confuse Original with the other Oceanas. They are all independent of each other. I chose Oceana Original because it is pet-friendly, well-situated in Oceanside for breezes, quiet and convenience. I also wanted to buy my own home and grow the equity, have reasonable HOA fees, a wide variety of activities, pleasing landscape, friendly people, responsive office staff, resident-run committees, and Board of Directors. I enjoy the parties and active groups like gardening, line dancing, yoga. Coffee hours, card games, singing, pools and hot tub are also enjoyable. There is so much more I have not attended. I searched most 55+ active communities in Oceanside and Oceana Original was the best of what I wanted for the cost. Please have your Realtor research if the property you want is leased or fee simple. This makes a difference in monthly fees. We lease so that plus HOA fees has the total at about $500 a month. I still own the condo and equity. I feel this is more than fair for the area, community and services.

Oceana was an independent home, and the people who need assistance can get it. They had all kinds of things for people going on. It was just kept up beautifully. They had small-sized homes, like condominiums. They keep up all the property, and it is just a very nice and relaxing place. They had a community room, a pool, and a library.
