What we really liked about Arcadia Place was the fact that you could walk out of your own apartment onto a patio, so you felt more like you were in a house that you could walk out of rather than going through a hallway to the main entrance. The staff was very friendly and interested in us as people. It was really a good tour. We liked the structure of the building, we liked the centralized location of activities within the building, and it was very clean. The rooms were a good size. I especially liked the bathroom. It wasn't just kind of a closet bathroom. It was a nice size.

I went to Arcadia Place. It seemed very friendly and nice. The director and the person who showed us around were very friendly and knowledgeable. The people there seemed friendly, too. We didn't care about the carpeting, though. It had a lot of stains on it, and it just kind of turned us off to the place.

I toured Arcadia Place. The carpets were filthy, and they had a high fee for a pet. It was a high fee. I wasn't at all impressed with that one. I would not give it marks. The meals are included. They had plenty of common areas. They had a snack area that was open all day, and that sort of thing to fruits and danish out all day. They had games and game tables that you could go and sit at during the day. They had what everyone would need if you weren't active, but it didn't suit me. Kirsten gave me the tour, and she was wonderful. The place was clean, except the carpets were filthy.

Arcadia Place is one of the places I really liked. The one that they showed me was a studio on the ground floor and it had an exterior door to the parking lot. For me, this would be very good. It had water damage though, and it's not going to be available for another month to 90 days. It's just one of the few that they have there, but it's a very large area for that type of place. It has a little kitchenette, which is good. It's about 500 square feet, which is a pretty good size for one room. The other thing is there's a zero community fee. There are no additional charges, but the cost is a little high for me. It's $2700. The staff was very good. I didn't get the person that I initially talked to, but that worked out OK. The manager showed me the place, but when I called him back about availability, that's when they told me that they had water damage. A lot of other people were affected as well, so they have to do some repair. The cleanliness and structure of the building were very good. You walk into kind of like the initial area right there. It's like a meeting room, and there are offices along the way, and then on the ground floor, there's a large community room and the eating area, which is kind of restaurant style.
