"I am a resident of The Grand Senior Living. It's a beautiful place to live. The people are very friendly and they make you feel at home. The food is delicious, including all the meals and snacks. The place is new. It's only been open for four and a half years and everything is well-appointed. I am gradually getting moved in because you provide your furniture. It's set up with a living room area, a fully appointed kitchen, a washer and dryer, a one-bedroom, and a large bathroom. I have a balcony that overlooks a wildlife area and it's a very quiet place to live. The layout of the building is very easy to get around and they have elevators everywhere. They have lots of classes offered. I've already been to a yoga chair class, there are plenty of offerings every day, and it's one of the few places that has a heated pool."

"Vitality Living Springdale was extremely nice and clean. The staff was great. The food was good, and that was a big thing. It was a nice place. I like the fact that they can order off of a menu; I like that a lot. That is one of the big things. They have an exercise area and a movie theater. And then they have snacks and stuff for the residents in the dining area."

"Sunrise of Louisville is wonderful. Upon entering, it was very clean, and it had a nice, sweet smell to it. They did a very good job with the physical plant. It's well managed. The people are very gracious and friendly. We had a meal there, and I was impressed. You can order from a menu. They had tablecloths and napkins. It was very gracious and very Southern. It was very appealing to us. I would love it, but $7,000 a month is way too high. There was no help, and we didn't have long-term health insurance, either. Otherwise, I would have signed on gladly. The staff members were very professional, warm, and friendly. The one who gave the tour was very friendly and warm, too. We talked about Louisville and places that we had in common that we liked. She was a very gracious and very friendly young girl. It had wonderful aromas from the kitchen, and the appropriations in the dining room were just first-class. The place is gorgeous, and it's in a beautiful part of the city. My main attraction is the location. It is well-kept and beautiful."

"We visited Vivera Senior Living's assisted living. Everybody was super nice and the place looked amazing. It was very clean and everything was very organized. All the employees were working and attending to people there. Everything was nice. They have an open space where they have their meals. The layout was nice, too. Our only problem is that it's far away."

"The Mansion on Main is very open and clean. I'm planning to move to their assisted living. The place used to be a shirt factory, so they have a lot of room there. The hallways are open and wide and have hardwood floors. I'm in a wheelchair, so it makes it easy for me to get around. The people that I dealt with when I went over to visit the facility were very accommodating and had a lot of information for me, with a lot of ideas on how to live in my new accommodations. In terms of activities, they do offer yoga, and I think they have a reading club, too. They have bingo and the typical things that you find in an assisted care facility. They also have a cocktail hour two times a week."

"I have found Creekside to be a good fit for my mother-in-law. She enjoys the food and the staff are all courteous and helpful. Everyone who works there goes out of their way to provide compassionate care. For us the most important thing in placing our loved one at Creekside was how much the people working there care about the residents. This is abundantly clear at Creekside."

"We loved BeeHive Homes of Lyndon. It's a wonderful place. It was smaller and I would give them an excellent review. We had a friend that was there for several years and they just raved about it. The room was lovely. Everything was nice and clean, and the staff was wonderful and very attentive. I walked in and I just immediately loved it. There were also many activities and they had the director there that does it all."

"Magnolia Springs East was beautiful. They had a lot of great activities on a calendar and activity rooms, but my father is going to need skilled care and my mother needs personal care. The rooms were beautiful and fantastic, and the staff was really helpful and nice."

"Rooms are well maintained. Food is good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Husband loves Happy Hour activity twice a week."

"I liked it and the staff was nice, but I liked how the facility was set up. They had activities that were suitable for people of my mother's age group. The staff was very nice, she gave me a little gift when I left. She was very nice, very helpful, and very knowledgeable about trying to understand how they can create a program for my mother. It was very creative."

"Belmont Village St. Matthews was super nice and wonderful. The lady who gave us the tour was wonderful and super friendly. The place is very high on the list of places we're considering. Everyone was friendly. We loved the space, which was bright, open, and inviting. We liked it a lot. The rooms looked very comfortable and everything was well-done. It was a bright and cheery place, and wasn't dreary at all. It had a more modern, comfortable, and welcoming feeling. It looked like they had a lot of nice, smaller places for conversation for when you have friends or family come over. Everything wasn't just a big open space. The dining spaces were nice as well as the place where they do movies. It had a nice feel to it."

"Magnolia Springs Louisville was absolutely beautiful. I love the meal service. I love the rooms. I love the fact that there is a gym there. The dining area was very spacious and very elegant. The food looked wonderful, and the aroma was fantastic. The room was very spacious. The bathroom and the closet were nice. I liked it. The staff seemed very helpful, very courteous, and very personable. There's a little snack bar any time that you want it. They have games going on like poker (if you're a poker player), and they had a puzzle going, which I love."

"I toured Christian Care Communities - Middletown. The gentleman who showed me around was very helpful and pointed out a lot of things in the apartment that would be nice: a washer and dryer, a refrigerator with a freezer, and access to the bathrooms. There were two doors to each bathroom, and it was handicapped-accessible. It had the braces there to hold it in the bathroom. It was very nice."
