During Hurricane IAN she personally stayed without my 94 year old mother throughout the storm even when she had her own family visiting her from out of town! I visited my Dad in Sarasota, Florida in September of 2020 to help him find a new home helper. I wasn't sure how I would find agencies or franchises who would provide my Dad with the help he needed but to my delight I discovered Caring.com in a Senior's blue book and contacted them. Caring.com quickly provided me with four different providers they felt would meet my Father's needs in Sarasota. Out of the four franchises my Dad and I decided on Home Helpers and we couldn't be happier with the service they have provided. The owner, Erika, has gone above and beyond to accommodate my Dad's needs and wishes. Home Helper's has a family portal which is a wonderful resource for me, his daughter. I help my Dad manage things from Colorado, where I live and receiving a weekly invoice from Erika for approval to be paid is very helpful and saves my Dad from having to handle this. It is amazing that I'm able to work with Erika, the owner of the franchise directly. Erika is committed, integral, honest and diligent and I cannot say enough good things about her and her business. I highly recommend Home Helpers to anyone looking for in home help for their loved ones.

My long list of expectations was met with each of the caregivers she sent to provide care for my husband who has Advanced Stage Parkinson's. The caregivers were prompt, caring, and supportive of my husband's needs. Erika is quick to return my phone calls and emails in a professional and pleasant manner.

Erika and her team worked with my father and my family during a very challenging time. Erika and her staff worked beyond their expected duties. I live in another state and it is difficult to manage health care from a distance. Erika and her staff were on time, and very responsive to not only my father's needs but my questions and concerns. At this time, their services are not needed but I would hire this team again if ever needed. Highly recommended.
