"I don't know what place Brianna is talking about but it certainly isn't Surrey Place in Bradenton, FL. I have lived most of my life in Bradenton and I have inspected Surrey Place a couple times for my Mother. It is a lovely facility in a very safe area of WEST Bradenton and has a good reputation among the medical community. I am sure Brianna has Surrey Place confused with another assisted living/nursing facility. Whoever is responsible for this website needs to check the comments more often. "

"Heritage Park is a nice rehab facility. It's smaller and it's basically designed more for people that are going to be in there for a period of time to either rehab or for hospice care. It's a great place for people needing those care, but the pricing there was way more than I can afford. We were in there when my wife had some physical problems for a rehab and Medicare paid for it, but if we have to pay for it ourselves, I wouldn't look at that place. It was just too expensive. Food was fair too. However, I thought that the staff was extremely good. They were really concerned and did an excellent job with my wife. Her improvement was important to them than anything. They would keep you in the loop and we had meetings with them regarding my wife. It was just fantastic. "

"The staff is amazing. Each team communicates with the ther - speech, nutrition, dietary, etc- all work together. They call me on a regular basis to keep me informed on my friend's progress or set- backs. I am very pleased with this facility. The rooms are your typical residential facility rooms. The place always seems clean and smells good. "

"Bradenton Health Care is beautiful. It's separated into different units for Alzheiner's or dementia patients, but my dad was placed in the long-term care facility. It was fine. The staff was very good and very attentive to him, and the food was good. It was a nice facility. He was supposed to go to physical therapy. They also have some crafts."

"My husband has been in the Life Care Center of Sarasota. It's like a little hospital, and I guess that you have long-term care there, but we're only on the nursing area side. The nurses seem very attentive and some of the aides are lovely. I've heard other doctors say you get good care there, and there's a physician's assistant that comes and sees a patient every day. There's a doctor and a physician's assistant. It's fairly clean. The staff is very attentive, and they're very kind. Sometimes the food is really good, and sometimes it's institutional food. I noticed they do have bingo, and they have outside areas where people can go. They have ice cream every afternoon. They try to make it as pleasant as they can, but I think COVID has impacted what they do right now."

"The amenities here are wonderful. There is available transportation during all days of the week to surrounding activities and attractions. While my grandfather was recovering here, he was able to watch cable on the television in his room and also had internet so he did not get so bored. They offer all kinds of therapy here so there are residents who are recovering from all sorts of surgeries/accidents and there are also just residents who have settled down there. Every resident is extremely welcoming and kind. My grandfather loved the food here, they had a wide variety of choices, and if you didn't want to, you didn't have to eat at the exact same time every day for each meal. I was also glad that he had transportation to activities provided by the facility so that I did not have to take him places but he could still get out and do fun things. The staff is very friendly and I felt extremely assured that he was getting the best care possible. He recovered quickly and still keeps in touch with his friends. "

"The staff was really nice at Crossbreeze Care Center. When I went in there, I talked to the director and asked questions, and they explained everything. But the facility needs to be updated. "

"We toured Sarasota Bay Club, and it was wonderful. However, it was too much money for me. The staff was good, everything was perfect, and I've eaten there several times. The food was extraordinary."

"The Pines was clean, and they have friendly people and staff. It was a nice place. The rooms were not really big but adequately sized. I saw people sitting and eating. The dining area and food looked appealing, but we didn’t stay long. "

"I have my mother at Heartland North. The room seems adequate. It is small, but nice. People seem very helpful. They have quite few activities. They have bingo, card games, and music on the weekend. We chose it because my mom has been there before after an operation, so I am familiar with the place, and it is directly around the corner from where I live. It is very convenient for me. "

"5 Stars across the board! My mom had 4th stage terminal lung cancer, dementia and recovering from a broken shoulder. From the beginning, working with the DON Javier O. and the Admissions Rep Rosie C. through the end of my mother's life, we were treated with great care, dignity, compassion and lots of love by ALL we came into contact with. When my mom was admitted, under Medicaid, we expected her to be there for a while, as the cancer was not growing, but the dementia was present. She was immediately engaged in PT and all of the activities she AWESOME.... volleyball, basketball, parachute, bowling, karaoke, and so much more! The CNAs, RNs and everyone we came into contact with were terrific.... especially Rena, Protégé, Marie, & Jessica (and many more). It was discovered that the cancer had spread to my mom's brain about 4 weeks after her admission- she was experiencing several symptoms and together the medical staff were diligent in finding an answer in close contact with me. When Hospice came in, they were great, but it truly was the staff of Tarpon Point who held our hands, supported us all and loved my mom through the very end. I will never be able to thank each and everyone of them for their compassion and support, and I am forever grateful!!!!"
