I don't know what place Brianna is talking about but it certainly isn't Surrey Place in Bradenton, FL. I have lived most of my life in Bradenton and I have inspected Surrey Place a couple times for my Mother. It is a lovely facility in a very safe area of WEST Bradenton and has a good reputation among the medical community. I am sure Brianna has Surrey Place confused with another assisted living/nursing facility. Whoever is responsible for this website needs to check the comments more often.

My father is currently there and is recieving the best care I think he could ever get from the doctor and the staff. I live out of town but did not want to move him back by me because I feel like they are better than any of the places where I live. They are kind to my father and treat him wonderful. I felt lucky to find this rehab and it was also suggested as first from the case manager at the hospital.I truely feel he is going to gain his stregnth back and come home soon .

Dad was at Surrey Place Convalescent Center for emergency care and we ended up moving him there permanently so we didn’t need to move him. They provide excellent level of care. They have been very attentive and responsive. It is very personal, and dad liked it. He felt safe and comfortable there.

My aunt is currently in Surrey Place. She's there for rehabilitation because she's having difficulty with her legs. It's definitely a nice facility. The rooms are spacious and the facility itself is beautiful. They have nice, wide hallways. It's very clean without looking sterile. The staff I ran into is good and patient. The way that they respond and talk to people, they don't seem to be in a rush. They seem to take a genuine interest.

My grandmother spent several years at Surrey Place in Bradenton, FL. The positives of this facility are their affordability, care provided to their clients, and the appearance of the building. The facility is located in Northeast Bradenton, just a mile or so away from the Tropicana factory. It is also very close to the Manatee memorial hospital, which is really good should there be any serious medical emergency. The negative aspects of this facility is that it is not in a particularly safe part of town. Moreover, there is not a fence around the property, and there is not much outside space for residents to go outside and look at nature, or get a breath of fresh air. Although some of the employees seemed to have a bad attitude, there was generally a positive, helpful nature to the majority of the workers there. My grandmother was relatively happy there. I would not recommend this location for an especially active resident, but it would be just fine for a resident who does not go outside much.
