So far it's been really good at Brookdale Bradenton Gardens. All the staff has been very friendly and helpful, and they made it an easy transition for my mother-in-law. She's in the memory care part. It's a good-sized room, and she's been there three weeks now. We have had no complaints. She likes the food so far. Everything has been good, the dining area looks nice, and it is good for what they need. They had all kinds of things to keep people busy there. They had a Mardi Gras party the day that she moved in, they took them outside, and they took them to the dollar store. The staff has been amazing.

When I visited Brookdale Bradenton Gardens, I thought it was a little strange that it's right next to a funeral home, that would make somebody a little nervous, I think. It seemed well painted and cleaned, but it was very old. It didn't have the high ceilings and wide hallways. I was looking for something a little bit more modern. The staff was very nice. We looked at the dining area, but I didn't sample any food. There were some ladies in a room getting ready to do some kind of crafts. People were sitting out in front until it started raining and lightning bad. The person who accommodated me was very good, very warm, and very friendly. She offered me a bottle of water. The place looked very clean from what I could see.

I toured Brookdale Bradenton Gardens. I looked at their facilities. It's an old nursing home with just single rooms down the line. Their big rooms have plenty of rooms for my wheelchair. It's close to the bus stop. I need a bus to get out and do things. From the appearance of the runthrough, it looked like I could manage to live in there without getting frustrated thinking that I was in a nursing home. I still have my freedom, and it would be like living in a room with good access to the bathroom. The sink is raised, and the mirror is lowered. They don't have appliances in the room and that's why they have that restaurant-style meals in their little cafeteria area. They bring your food to your table. The person who toured me around was quite informative. The cleanliness is fine. The layout is good. With my powered wheelchair, I got plenty of space, and I won't be running into walls and banging into something. There's plenty of space. Everything is quite accessible. I could move around without banging myself in my chair. I saw people sitting around socializing.

We visited Brookdale Bradenton Gardens for my sister. They have the daily activities that you would expect. The staff there was excellent, and they gave us the tour. The room that they showed us gives you the immediate feeling that it's a real old facility. It was a single-story group of apartments. It wasn't bright in the room; it was dreary. Because of the way it was facing, you don't get the sun. You would have to really fix up the room, so you won't get the feeling that you're in the back room or something. The space was a premium, and the pricing was about $2700. They have the administrative fee, and then they have the fee for oxygen. There was another fee for care or cost of living, so the cost runs up. On a limited income, it's staggering. It scares the hell out of you. We saw their cafeteria area. It was really nice and clean. It was worth mentioning. They had a smaller library type of room and an activity room. There was a group of people doing an activity. They also have movies, lectures, and game nights. They have several ways to get each participant involved.

Brookdale Bradenton Gardens needed to be updated. It was very old. They had grounds for people to sit outside. They could sit in the foyer, too. The staff was very gracious. The rooms were very nice. Everything was very, very clean. The staff was very friendly. I saw a few residents, and they seemed to be very happy. They had different arts and crafts for them. It was a very small facility.

I spoke with a woman at Brookdale Bradenton Gardens. She was extremely pleasant and gave me the impression that there was extreme care about the people who will reside at Brookdale. She was very interested in the well-being of their neighbors (as she would refer to them). The facility was immaculate and clean. Everybody I met as far as their residents were extremely pleasant. Their dining room was immaculate, and the tables were well spaced because of COVID. You could smell the disinfectant, and I could tell that somebody just cleaned. The place looked immaculate. It was clean as a whistle. The layout was up-to-date as far as a suite is concerned. They had cooking facility there, a refrigerator, a huge bathroom, walk-in shower, and TV. It had an excellent view out the window into a courtyard. Everything looked immaculate and well kept; it was better than most of the hotel suites I've ever stayed in all my years of travel. When you pull up to the entrance, it's laid out where everybody has a beautiful view. They had a garden with absolutely fantastic gardening effects with trees, palm trees, and oaks. It was beautiful, and I don't usually use that word as a man about anything. It was absolutely stunning.

Brookdale Bradenton Gardens was nice, and the woman who showed us around was also really nice. We noticed that the dining area was pretty crowded. Everyone was wedged in there. The outside area seemed nice, and the rooms were okay. It seemed to me like their outdoor spaces weren't important because they are inside all day. Florida is nice, sunny and vitamin D is important. It is good to have them be able to go outside, and I think they should have the residents out every day for some fresh air. I also think it's important for them to have a little bit more room to move around ,since a lot of them have wheelchairs too.

I visited Brookdale Bradenton Gardens and talked to the staff. I got different information, like when I talked to their nurse if I have to use their pharmacy and I got one answer from one person and a different answer than when I talked to somebody else. To me that was a really important question. There was a lot of confusion with that kind of thing, and they weren't as friendly. This community actually has a good size which was what I was looking for, but there's just something about it.

I currently live here at Bradenton Gardens. I have been here for just about 6 months. It was very scary for me to move from my home and leave everything I knew and loved. It was a very hard transition. My daughter helped me and thank God for the staff at Brookdale. Especially Theresa, the intake person. They helped us find movers, furniture, they helped me make new friends quickly, which i was very nervous about. The staff has been wonderful here, they do everything fro me, because its hard now. They cook and clean for me, they do our laundry and there are doctors that com here every week. I love the nurses, we wear pendants on our necks and you have to push the button for them to come help you. The apartments are nice and big, comfortable and clean. I'm glad I have my own bathroom. The food is great, it isn't my own, but its still very good. I can tell they all try to do our best for us and you can always ask for help. The pictures on this website are not updated, it looks much, much better here now. They have made a lot of improvements since these pictures were taken. I should have made this move many moths before I did, my life would have been easier sooner. I do like this place a lot and glad my daughter moved me here. It's a good place to live. There are a lot of activities to go to and the is a hair salon too. Its not open right now because of this virus but the executive director used to be a hair dresser so she is cutting all o four hair! And even shaves the guys! We are all grateful for that.

We're going to be moving my mother-in-law into Brookdale Bradenton Gardens. It's by far the best facility. We'll be able to get her into at least a shared room and possibly a private room. We love it. The staff was the best that we met. The sales director is truly part of the community and knew every single resident. We met many staff members, and I would rate them ten times better than any other place that we visited. The head nurse was outstanding. The residents in memory care also interact with the rest of the assisted living, which is great for her because she's social. They were so caring. We met the activities director and we saw their schedule. It was probably the best of any place that we saw.

We went to Brookdale Bradenton Gardens. I thought the tour was very informative, and the people were very upbeat. The staff answered all the questions we have. The atmosphere was very friendly, very inviting, and if there was a place I would want to live, that would be one of the places I would be looking at. I thought the dining area was outstanding, looked inviting, clean and very presentable. There were computers that they can use, there was an enclosed area that they can go outside and walk, and they take them out regularly.

My brother has been a resident since April and is very happy there. The staff treats him great and he has made many new friends. He likes his room and roommate and enjoys the meals there, and looking forward to what will be served the next day. My husband and I have eaten there with him several times and the servers treat us really well and we have enjoyed what's been served. Also the new updates in the decor look great. I'm glad that the three of us have become a part of the Brookdale community.

My aunt was at Brookdale Bradenton Gardens for two weeks. The location is perfect. The place is being upgraded. I like it. It could have been a little fancier, but it was fine because the price was what my aunt could afford. The room was beautiful. My aunt came from the hospital and didn't have furniture with her, but they went out of their way for her. The head of the maintenance bent over backwards to get everything she wanted it and needed. Everybody was so nice. I would recommend Brookdale Bradenton Gardens to anybody. The intake person and the director were absolutely wonderful. They couldn't have been any nicer.

My mom is there in the memory care section. At first I was thrilled with her being there but now having second thoughts. Her room hasn't been cleaned in over a month, items constantly missing, room has an odor and she is not showered regularly. I'm there twice per week and spend the day with her, during which I shower her and straighten up her room. When I arrive she has on the same clothes she had on at my last visit when I showered her. She is a woman who bathed twice daily and kept a spotless home. Meanwhile a worker sits and plays on her phone when she should be working. If things don't improve here very soon I will be moving her out.

I have a deposit with Brookdale Bradenton Gardens, but they would be my second or third choice. It is within my budget and only about five minutes away from where I live right now. However, it wasn’t as nice as the other community as far as the physical facility and was a little bit more depressing in the memory care. It didn’t have the same upbeat feeling as other communities, though still good enough that I wouldn’t feel terribly bad about seeing my husband there. The staff is wonderful, but they didn’t have many activities. It was one of the things that was lacking. The memory care facility part was rather small and didn’t offer the amount of privacy as other communities.

Brookdale Bradenton Gardens was a really lousy place. My aunt was in memory care. It smelled, and the staff was lazy and uncaring. The apartment was OK but every time I visited her she was wet through her pants, she hadn't been showered, and the food is something I can only call disgusting. Dessert was a stale brownie that every person picked up with their hands; it crumbled onto the plate, and no one could eat it. There was no meat, bread, or starch. There was a canned tomato, broccoli and cheese that looked like it had been microwaved. The pricing was exorbitant -- $7000 for a month there. I had her go there, and I regretted it deeply.

The secured unit in Brookdale had screaming people, the activities looked like they’re just sitting, and they had hidden fees. There’s a fee for the facility and another fee just to handle his medicine. The rooms in the regular units were nice, but the ones in the secured unit were not nice.

Brookdale was nice. It was homey, and the people were very nice. The rooms were fine; they were clean, but there was no barrier around the shower, so it was not safe for an older person. They didn’t seem to have as many activities as the other places.

They were very informative at Brookdale Bradenton Gardens. They were in the process of remodeling. It was very clean and well taken care of. It would have been our choice if it was not too far away. They have activities like shopping, bingo, and cards. It was wide open, and it had lots of sunshine. Their lobby was huge.

We looked in Brookdale Bradenton Gardens. It’s an older building, but they showed me all the updates they were doing. They did outings, and there was a whole calendar of things that they offered. I believe they had 3 meals; I think they usually had drinks and fruits. I was very pleased with it.

My mother will be going here. It is very clean. It is very nice -- both the grounds outside and inside. I talked to the coordinator; they have activities for them. The people I meet seem nice. The dining set up is very nice. The receptionist said the food is good. They have bingo and crafts, but I am not sure what else they have. I have seen a room, and it is furnished, but I think you need to furnish your own room. It is a nice size, and the bathroom is nice too. It has a walk-in shower, and it has bars.

It was very nice. I thought it would be fine for my neighbor, but my husband didn't think that she would like it there. It was bright and cheery, and it was clean. I used to do home health and I was in these facilities years ago as a nurse, and the problems that I had sometimes with the staff will not be the same because the same staff is not there. The problems that I had with the patients were, of course, between me and the patient. The facility building itself was the same. It hasn't changed that much in the years that I used to be a nurse.

It was nice, but the rooms were not as big as my own personal bedroom. I know that John wouldn't be happy there. That wasn't acceptable. But it was lovely, clean, friendly, and a happy place. Other than the size of the rooms, everything else about the place was very nice.

It had a feeling of a medical building. Outside, it had no ambience whatsoever. Inside though was very clean and very nice. The admission person was a gentleman and he was accommodating. From the outside, it didn't seem what I wanted for my mother.

I have chosen here for the lady I've cared for, for the last 7 years. I decided to go with a facility for the reason that I cannot take care of her all the time. The facility was actually in a good location. I go to school right by there, so it's very convenient for me to visit her anytime. The people there, from the resident to the staff were really kind and friendly. And I have a great sense of relief and security that she will be well taken care of.
