"Facility always clean and clean smelling, regular toilet visits for residents, three good meals per day, plus snacks. There are daily activities that residents can actually participate in, like drum circle, Elvis visits, musical entertainment, therapy dogs and various games for physical as well as mental stimulation. Staff shows genuine concern and care toward residents. A nice smaller and quiet alternative to bigger facilities."

"Sunny Bower was a nice facility, almost like a large private home. It didn't smell like urine and didn't look like an old folk's home. It looked like a bunch of people who are having a good time. One of the residents was a test pilot for Howard Hughes and a helicopter pilot. The staff was absolutely wonderful. I spoke with everyone up there and one lady I spoke with for about two hours. I saw them cooking the food and it was something that old people with no teeth could eat. It was not gourmet food, but it looked good. I love the place. I would recommend it to anybody and that would be my first place to go if I ever need it. The people I saw there were fine. All of the plates were completely clean, either they didn't give them enough or they just ate everything. Everybody was happy. It smelled good."

It is well run and enjoys strong community support. There are not a lot of services available In the county and this one is critical to the aging population. "

"My husband was able to go to an adult daycare facility called Town Square Sarasota, and that was fantastic. He loved being there. He was happy. Everyone who had Alzheimer's or dementia could have the opportunity to go to Town Square because it is fantastic. They are the best. They're just wonderful. They care about each person. They made each person feel like they were being loved and taken care of. They have kept everyone busy. Every hour they have another program that they do all day. They're just very caring, wonderful people. They have sing-alongs, trivia games, puzzles, bingo, bowling, billiards, and plays. They have games of all different kinds. They had programs that they did on different informational things. Every day, they had something that they will do. One day it was on Veterans and another day it was on dancing. They had dancers come in. They have a handout of what happens every hour and every day to the people that are there, so it's well worth contacting or having sent to you. You could see what kinds of activities going on all day long. They have lunch and they have snacks. Most of the time, if there was something that I knew they were serving that my husband couldn't eat, I would tell them, and they would not give it to him. They'd have something else. They're better than better. It's a brand new facility and I feel they take good care of it."

"Every time I visit this nursing home the staff has been nice and polite. I was really pleased to hear the residents and staff were safe during hurricane Milton and never lost power. There is a lot of longevity here with the staff which says a lot. This facility is nice and clean. I visited other nursing homes before and overall this facility has been the best."
