The lady in Crossbreeze Care Center gave us a half-an-hour spiel about how wonderful the place was. When we finally went to go back and look, the hallways were very dark and gloomy. The room was very small, and it didn't have a nice appearance at all. I didn't see any nursing staff or any aides in attendance. They were bragging and boasting about how many activities they had, but there was nobody participating in anything. There were supposed to be 101 people there, but I only saw four residents. Everybody else was behind closed doors in the middle of the afternoon and sleeping. The staff spent a lot of time telling us all these wonderful things, but we didn't see any of these wonderful things that she was talking about.

The staff was really nice at Crossbreeze Care Center. When I went in there, I talked to the director and asked questions, and they explained everything. But the facility needs to be updated.
