Right at Home helped me and my family through a very difficult time. They were there for my parents when my father was released from the hospital after an extended stay. They mobilized quickly to help us twice a day while my father recovered and my parent's were able to reduce the frequency of their visits from twice a day to once a day until they were able to be on their own. Cindy, Alice, Jackie, Helen and Tierney have all been great about communicating and following up with me, being available, even after hours and on weekends. The team has been able to do anything we needed done, from cooking and cleaning to driving to doctor's appointments. They have all been kind, accommodating and understanding of my parent's needs. Not only would I highly recommend Right at Home Sarasota County, I expect to be using them in the future for my parents as needed.

My father recently was released from the hospital with a severe brain injury. His lack of awareness of his own situation, the fact that he could not walk (yet tried to do so repeatedly), and complete lack of short term recall provided a huge challenge. Although my father was placed in a rehab facility, he needed around the clock one-on-one care or else the rehab facility could not keep him. In a desperate state, we called Right At Home and were relieved to have an understanding voice on the other end of the phone. Cindy immediately gathered all pertinent info and got to work scheduling staff to assist us. Within hours, Cindy had staff lined up to cover night and day 12 hours shifts, which ensured that my father could remain at the rehab facility. Right At Home saved us! Their staff are all wonderful and dealt with a very difficult patient with no complaints. They are compassionate and understanding and exactly what we needed during a very difficult time.

We needed to get care support in the home to help with his care immediately. Right at Home was able to provide someone the very night he came home from the doctors. The level of expertise in the care provided was outstanding. Everyone treated my brother with dignity and compassion. Through the challenges of living far away from my brother, Right at Home communicated with me in upstate NY in coordinating with the caregiver in the home in Florida. As someone who worked in Home Care for many years, I was impressed with the level of the service and quality of the care. It's difficult, because i'm across the country. It's been pretty positive. She calls me and provides me feedback on their visits, and my dad is always happy. It's pretty tricky getting health care workers into someone's home, who doesn't want it, and the personality is important. It was tough to sell the idea to my dad that he needed help. He loves the caregivers coming into his home, both of them. That's the primary thing. I was a little concerned when I made the appointment, but when both of them were there, he said they were great, and he's happy that they are coming to their house.

The office staff was very professional and compassionate. I knew that I had called the Right Home Health company. We needed care to start right away, they came out the house the same day to sign us up and a caregiver started the same night. All of the caregivers were always on time, dressed professional, so polite, knew exactly what care was needed and it was apparent that they were very well trained. They took such great care of mom, as if they were taking care of their own mother. We are so thankful for everything they did. She loved to be doted on and that is exactly what they did. Mom was happy to have the additional attention. Right at Home has more than exceeded our expectations. From the first call, to the scheduling team, the nursing team, the caregivers and to the billing department.Everyone was just wonderful. An extension of our family. They're only here for two hours, so it hasn't impacted our lives too much. It has freed up a little time for me to get groceries or run errands. I may not have time to do those things otherwise. The caregivers are very nice and attentive. They try to carry on conversation without being a chatty Cathy. They try to engage my loved one in conversation while they do their work.

The most positive thing is that I had trouble getting someone at 7 in the morning and Right at Home guaranteed it, and the owner even came out for a week when he couldn't find a caregiver. I didn't have to have any concerns about my husband when I was at work, and when I got home, he was in good shape and the house was clean.

They are a very good company. I like the care that I get. I like the level of care and the way they come in and do their job.

We've had a couple of caregivers and they've been very, very nice. One of them skips a couple things when they help, though. I don't like to put too much on anybody but the caregivers have been really good about it. I didn't want to do this but my husband told me to give them a try and they've been lovely. They could do a little more when they're here, though, and do it right. They shouldn't skip the mirrors in the bathroom and other little things like that.

They have a hard time scheduling things because of the way that the industry works. However, I think they do care tremendously. When it's good, it's really good, and when it's bad, it is a problem. They help my loved one get dressed, schedule her day, and help her get around.

The caregvier takes care of me. There's nothing wrong with what they do, but there are some things I would expect more of. It does away with the loneliness. There's always somebody I can reach.

The staff overall was very very good. We didn't have any issues with anybody. The caregiver could reject us as clients and the clients could reject them, but that never happened. It gave my mother the opportunity to be freshened up everyday and to start her day. That's one of the things as her son that she wasn't comfortable with. To have a woman to do those things was helpful.

Right at Home sent two caregivers that were not good at all at one point, but our caregivers are good now. It is a big help when the caregivers are here, while I am on dialysis. There is someone here in case something goes wrong.

For the most part of the individuals that have come in have been professional, friendly, and helpful. I have had one incident where there was an overnight individual that spent the night sleeping. Other than that, they have been very, very good. It has been very helpful to get out and do things without worrying about her being alone.
