My mother will be moving into Aegis Living of Shoreline soon. They have a pretty high level of care there; we looked into their assisted living level. Our visiting experience was pretty good, otherwise we wouldn't be sending her there. The apartments are very nice, the place is fairly modern, and pretty new. They have a lot of staff members, which is the most important thing. They have more staff members and a much higher ratio of staff to residents than any other place we visited. They have RNs, LPNs, and CNAs on staff, and a lot of people working there. They have lots of activities. They even go out to the coast for the day. They have a lot of opportunities for people to go on day trips, cook meals, do pottery, garden, and lots of different things. They have musical groups that come in every week, they watch movies, and so on. They have a pretty open time when people can eat, so it's not like breakfast should be at this time or lunch at this time. The residents can come eat at any time. My mother has more storage in her room, which is kind of unheard of. We didn't see that anywhere else.

My wife and I both have parents who've lived in multiple assisted living facilities over time. We both agree Aegis of Shoreline is the best of them. The staff is well-trained, friendly, caring and attentive. The nursing staff is very active and responsive. The activity staff is engaging. The maintenance and cleanliness of the building is impeccable. The food variety and quality is closer to restaurant dining.

Aegis Senior Living of Shoreline is a nice place. We looked at two one-bedroom apartments. My dad and his wife moved in today. They have an activities room, a nice-looking restaurant, a central lounge area, a bistro, a salon, and workout room.

Aegis of Shoreline was an excellent place. They probably had the best food in all of the places I've been to. They have very nice entertainment and are in a very nice location right next to the freeway, so it's very easy to get to. The staff seemed very attentive. It's a quite large community with a lot of activities and men's groups, a lot of outdoor facilities, and wine happy hours.
