"My dad is going to Laurel Cove Community for respite care. It seems like a very caring community. The staff that we worked with for the placement bent over backward to understand our needs and get to know my dad who is going there. They were just very easy to work with, and we felt like they would provide a caring place for him to go. The facility seemed clean and organized. They had availability, too. The person who took us on a tour was very caring, knowledgeable, and interested in our needs. He worked hard to try to understand what we needed and tried to reassure us."

"Edmonds Landing is a small community. There's assisted living and independent living together in one place, which I really liked. It's not just a bunch of assisted living people together or independent living together, but they live as one community. They have a lot of really nice outdoor spaces, and their dining room is beautiful. My mom's not there yet, but they've been very conscientious about gathering all of the information needed to care for her and meet all of her needs. They communicated with her doctor and spoke directly to her when we visited on Wednesday to find out exactly what she wanted and what she was expecting. The apartments are very nice. All of them are very, very clean. They have all have new carpet and new paint. My mom's moving into a one-bedroom, and it's very nice and very spacious. She's in a wheelchair about 80 percent of the time. It's very nice too that she can get around in her apartment in her wheelchair. There are beautiful gardens with tables and seating for people to go out, sit, and enjoy the different areas. The gardens and the plants are beautiful and look like they really keep up the gardens. They are landscaped very nicely. My mom has a really nice view of the garden and a pretty pink magnolia tree out of her bedroom window. It's just really pretty. Everybody that we've met has been wonderful."

"I've been in Kenmore Senior Living for about six years now. I think it's great. I've lived in many different ones and then I moved here and this is where I'm going to stay. The people are nice and the workers are good (what's left of them). I'm in a wheelchair, and about a block from here, we have 27 big nests of gray herons and and I go there quite often. It's been so fascinating being able to get there. It's a real asset to this place to be so close to it and to see all of the herons on the nests and then the baby herons come and they're very noisy. That was a very big asset for being here, but also their service and everything is great. The staff members are very nice, but we are understaffed. We need more people and I hope we get those soon. Everything got stopped completely and we just had to stay in our rooms. They're very careful with us. I don't think anybody had Covid here. They brought us our food. Everybody wore their masks and they took care of us. It was for our good. They don't bring it to our room anymore unless they request it, but most of them go to the dining room now since it's open. We have no masks on when we eat. The food is good. I can't eat everything because of health reasons, but they know what I eat and they cut it up. They take good care of us. My room is fine. It's big enough to get around in my wheelchair. The staff that we have is wonderful. They go out of their way to help us. I'm very satisfied with the staff here. The food is real good. I don't take part in most of the activities, but one activity that we used to have and we haven't had yet and that is going to the grocery store. I think that depends on the one who's running the bus. The store is close by and all my bank is close by, and I'm not too far from my kids. It is a great location. There is a Safeway where you can get just about everything in the line of groceries and they're close by walking distance. Even though I don't walk, I have a powerchair, so I go everywhere, and there's a Dollar Store within reach of us here. My phone broke and the custodian has spent many hours helping me and that is something she doesn't have to do. That's how they are here, helpful. If you ask them for something, they're there for you and that's how it should be. She's quite new, too, but she's always been helpful. If I go down to her with a problem, she's there. She helps me. We're past the Covid, and we're getting out now, we're getting out to our families, and we can have people inside here."

"Ascent Adult Family Home LLC was clean. They had a locked closet that you had to have a code to get into for the medications. The lady showed me around and she was just very nice and friendly. They were going to be getting the room ready (it wasn't ready yet) for my sister. They have to do an assessment first, so she would work with me on my sister. It's a home. From the second floor, getting to the yard in the back would be difficult for the people, but they've got a deck in the summer where people can go out onto and they have two of them. One had raised beds around the whole perimeter so that people could do gardening in it. It was comfortable-looking and it just seemed very nice. The lady I met was the owner. She lived downstairs. She was very personable and caring. They just didn't have a lot of parking, because it's in a neighborhood. So, their parking was not very good to go and visit."

"I visited this facility on several occasions to see my God-Mother. She has been a resident here for three years now and I most recently visited her in July of 2012. I love this facility for many reasons. It is in great shape, it is well kept, and very homey feeling. The staff is kind and helpful and most of all they know what they are doing. As a visitor I have always had a great experience with the friendly staff and the clean facility. The food is great, the rooms are spacious and they have a lot of activities for the residents. They also make sure that they provide great outings. The grounds are pretty and well maintained and she loves it here. I would highly recommend this facility if you are looking in this area for a place for yourself or for a loved one. "

"Northgate Plaza was lovely and yet not overdone. It's a relatively urban setting, but the grounds were lovely. They had flower beds and such. I thought how nice it was going to be to watch those flowers through the year instead of just concrete or urban scenery. It was very nicely done. It was not as luxurious as some of the others, but it was delightful and very comfortable. I saw three different layouts of rooms and I saw the effort of the person working with me. You could tell she was thinking about what she had heard me say and then was trying to match different room layouts as to how she understood that, which I really appreciated. The staff was delightful, friendly, and genuine. The food was good."

"We've already chosen Cogir of Mill Creek for my stepmom, and we will be moving her in by the end of the month. We are familiar with it because my grandmother lived there. The place was great. The staff were very friendly and very outgoing, and my mom is so very welcome. I like the grounds; it is more residential, and it's not right on the street, which is nice. The big thing is the staff and everyone we passed was friendly. They talked to my stepmom about what they do and their services."

"Room is nice clean, warm and light. Quiet being a smaller amount of people. Staffed well at all times.We have our mother here now after a 1 1/2 years at another well known place which was a disaster minimum care and 200 plus people. Very hectic but now it is peaceful and she enjoys joining at mealtime and other functions. Food has been good and variety of meals. This has also made me and my wife’s retirement years enjoyable knowing that she has great care and compassion from the staff. Ashly has all employees of Longhouse On same page as management. "My mother has moved into MorningStar of Silver Lake. They're very friendly. The service is fantastic. The food is excellent. The accommodations are superb. She likes it very much. The food quality is very good. They have Chicken Alfredo, beef tacos, tilapia, and different fish. It's a varied menu. It's very, very good and people have lots to choose from. They have a husky tailgate, happy hour, and a Veterans program coming up this Saturday honoring Veterans. They have live music there. It's a very lovely facility. They have movies twice a day, and they have activities going on every day. They have exercises going on every day."

"He didn't stay long enough to try a lot of things. He was just there for a week or so. The apartment was fine and nice. It stood out because it had air conditioning. The staff was good. He liked the food but he really didn’t have much to sample. They did fine, there's nothing they could change to provide better service. "

"We moved mom at Brookdale Everett last end of January. We also liked that they have little or no turnover with regards to the staff. When we asked mom about the food, and she says she is eating good. They do have different activities, but mom is not able to do any of it anymore. "

"My mom has lived there for 3 years, she came from another community where they could no longer care for her. Lodge has a new director and some other new team members and my experience with them has been great. The past executive director (Wilson) was responsive to me when I brought up issues to him also. My mom lived in the assisted living and moved to the secured memory care last year but she is always well cared for and often comes to the other area for activities. They are all very open to feedback and I am surprised to read the other lady's review. "
