We are residents of Affinity at Puyallup. It's well-maintained. I call it a cruise ship without the ship. They have a swimming pool and a movie theater. They have a library, a hobby room, and a room with a kitchen if you want to have your family there. They have a game room. It's not totally great because the air conditioner heater is undersized, and they know it's undersized. It's inadequate. I use the shop. It has a nice, big sitting room. I like to go down there and sit around and talk. It's got a computer room with a coffee machine, too. I use house garages. I like that because we can store stuff in it. The rate is fine because everything's included. It's one of those where you don't pay anything for TV, lights, anything.

The tour we had at Affinity at Puyallup was wonderful. I liked the facilities, but they don't have communal dining. You have to cook your own food. The staff was very nice. They have a saltwater pool and it looks nice. They have an arts and crafts room, a woodworking room, and more.

I'm gonna go to Affinity at Puyallup. It's nice. I like it. I like the cleanliness. They have a lot of activities. It's within my budget. They don't feed you there, but I'm not to that level of care yet, so that wasn't important to me. They have all kinds of activities for you. They have everything. The staff was super nice. There's a movie theater, a library with a fireplace with all kinds of books, a swimming pool, and a hot tub. There's a workshop if you are into doing woodworking. There's a crafts room, a pool table room, a card room where you can play cards and they have that activity where they play different types of card games each week. They have a couple of nights of bingo a week. They have a lot of different activities going on every day. Each unit had its own kitchen. They have a potluck every Sunday night and they have an area where everybody can get together, but they don't feed you daily.

Affinity at Puyallup is a very nice place. The rent is a little high, but I guess they are everywhere. They have very nice amenities here. We have a theater, a saltwater pool, an exercise room, a craft room, a coffee room, a computer room, a library, and guestrooms. The people are all very friendly and they take good care of us. What's nice is that everything is included in our rent. That includes our TV and our cable. Our theater has very nice large lounge seats in it. They also have an area where if you want to cook for a party or something, you can do it in this large area and not in your apartment. If you have a problem, you put in a work order and they respond to it almost immediately. The staff is just wonderful. They are very friendly and very helpful. They allow pets here, which is very nice, and they keep the facility clean. They have somebody cleaning every day of the week (for the maintenance outside and inside). They have a place for washing your dog and raised garden plots if people want to do some gardening. For what we get and for the amenities, we're getting good value for our money.

My tour at Affinity at Puyallup was all good. They were kind of in a hurry, though. I had an appointment with them, but it seemed like they didn't inform that person that she had an appointment. She had to hurry because she was in charge of the bingo. She had to get to the bingo parlor to call the numbers. That was okay with me because it shows she wanted to make sure she did the bingo for the guests. If you want to make sure you go to an activity, somebody's going to show up and do it. She took me to two floors and took me around and she showed me one unit. That's all because they didn't have a bunch of units to show. You could put a divider in the bedroom so it couldn't be seen. But if you were sitting in the kitchen, you could look in the bedroom and look in the living room, so I think it was a studio. It was very, very nice. The living room was small. We went through the library, nobody was in there, but people had started puzzles and things like that in there. But everything was nice and clean. The only thing though was that they don't have where they cook meals. You cook your own food. If you're sick or something and you don't want to cook, it would have been nice to have where you could call and say, 'Look, I'm not going down to dinner, could someone bring up something.' There's no restaurant. They have a room that if you want to have your family over for a holiday meal or any time during the year, you could use this room as long as you make sure it is clean when you leave. There was a kitchen area where you can cook right in that room. So instead of cooking in your room and bringing it down, you could cook everything right there, so that was nice if you wanted to have a get-together of some kind. The staff was nice. I had no complaints there. She was great.

The people at Affinity at Puyallup were very personable. They pretty much told us everything that we asked for and they were patient. They make adjustments for you when necessary. The cleanliness was excellent. The rooms were good-sized and well-maintained. They have a pool and a sauna (which we were interested in), and a lot of activities that took place and a lot of facilities to have those activities in. They had everything we wanted. I rate them very highly.

Affinity at Puyallup was a very nice facility. The amenities were great. The price seemed a little high, but with all the amenities they got, I can understand that. The staff was great. They did not have us on the schedule, but they did the best they could. We just weren't able to view a model. They had an exercise room, a pool, a hot tub, a woodworking shop, a crafts room, a pub, a billiard room, and a library.

I'm at Affinity at Puyallup. It's good. The trouble is we need to come down in cost. We got lots of going on, so we need to bring it down $1500 a month or less and that's where we are at. It's good and they do a good job. I have stayed here for nearly a year and a half. I just like the fact that they give me independence. They have done what they said they would do, and I appreciate that. I find them keeping the grounds beautiful, I see them keeping everything up quite nicely, and that means a lot to us. We appreciate that. The staff is good. They have activities; they do a good job with that. They have poker and card games. They have all of the different kinds of games that adults play like bingo. They don't have transportation and that would be a downer from my perspective. I wish they had transportation because we only have one car in our family, and it would help so much to have transportation. However, they put a lot into the activities. We've had some great meals like Christmas and potluck. The people themselves are the ones who bring the food, and they do a good job. It's not their fault that we need to go down a bit; it's just the cost of living.

I really liked Affinity at Puyallup. I liked its setup. It was kind of a high rise, but it wasn't as sterile as the other place. It was friendlier. They had a nice library. I really liked the woman who showed me around. She was masked. It was just overall really good to me. It was more spacious. They had a dog run. The facility was really good. They had a swimming pool. The workout room was small, but it's only two blocks from this huge YMCA. There were walking opportunities. There was a big park nearby. For me, it was really good. If I were going to go into something like that, that would definitely be one I would consider. The staff was great, personable, friendly, and open. I didn't feel like I was being rushed through. She knew what she was showing me. She knew the grounds, and everything about it. They had a tech room for computers. They had arts and crafts space that was really nice, and they had a community room where they had happy hour. The activity was cool. I'm not a drinker, but it was something that I could get into, as far as just being social. It just seemed more socially friendly. The lobby was big and welcoming. It was warm. The people in there were being responded to pretty much immediately. They were just considerate.

I visited Affinity at Puyallup. I liked everything. What the staff showed me and everything, it's like going to a club. There were activities for everybody to do, whatever you want, like crafts, games, just sitting in, leisure wise. They have an open barbecue area where you can go in and barbecue and have guests come with you. It's almost like a timeshare when you go to a presentation and they have all the amenities to show you. It's strictly independent living. The only one I saw was a one-bedroom, which was like a guest room and it's kind of small. The staff was very pleasant and very informative. When I got in there, they were going to have like a movie night. There was no food or anything served at the time. They have a crafts room, a shop area, a gaming area, and a kitchen area. For Halloween, they're going to do a costume thing, and then they have a little get-together in the lounge. They have a bar area. They have pretty much anything you can think of, depending on what you're into. They have a pet area, which I have a little dog, so that's good. I was impressed with what I saw. The staff was great, well informed, anything I asked or whatever, she was able to answer and more for that matter. I was very impressed with it. I didn't expect it.

I went to see Affinity at Puyallup, and I'm on their waiting list. It's really nice, and I liked it there. It's an independent living place. They have a lot to offer for senior citizens there. I did not get to go through the whole place because Covid-19 is in place right now, but they did give me a brochure. According to the brochure, they have several activity rooms and everything in there. They also have what's called a saltwater swimming pool, which piqued my curiosity as I've never heard one before. They also have a maintenance shop so the residents can go to the shop and work on any projects that they want to work on. That's something a lot of places don't have. I don't want to be sitting in a room staring at four walls yet. I want to be somewhere where there's some activity. I've talked to the staff, and they're very friendly. They have reasonable rates there, and the requirements for getting in is one and a half times the amount of the rent. It is better than a lot of other places where they wanted three or four times the amount of the rent. It's serious independent care, so they do not serve meals or anything else. Because of Covid-19, a lot of the activities were placed on hold. They're just starting to come out, and they're just starting to get some of their activities going. They have two or three different card games that they play. They have a movie theater, a swimming pool, and a workshop for the elders. As long as you're a resident there, you can take part in all these activities. If you're not a resident, you can't really get in there or anything. So I wasn't able to enter the pool or anything, but we did talk about it during my visit.

Affinity at Puyallup was absolutely wonderful. It had everything available. They had a lot of amenities. It checked all the boxes on our list. They have a pool, a workroom, a woodworking room, a media room, a library, and a cafeteria. The cleanliness was excellent. The staff was excellent, and their follow up has been excellent as well.

The tour we had with Affinity at Puyallup went very well. I give it very high marks for being a classy place. It was very nice, but it was up at the top of our affordability list. I couldn't afford to put my brother in there. However, it definitely left a positive impression on us. They showed us a library, a swimming pool with a jacuzzi, and their furnished rooms to envision what kind of furniture needs to fit into these smaller areas. I'm used to my three-bedroom house. You gotta see the small stuff fit in there to make it look like it's got room and yet comfortable. They had a woodshop, a crafts center, and a gathering place for social visits that were down in the lobby, which was quite impressive too. Linda was well informed of what was going on there (not only about the facility), but about the monetary issues that need to be done. She was forthcoming and very nice to talk to.

I like the security at Affinity at Puyallup. I haven't been in a swimming pool for a long time so I was kind of intrigued in doing that. I like the little patios, although they're kind of small. The staff who assisted us during the tour was very good. She explained everything and answered all our questions. The place looks very neat and very quiet.

Affinity at Puyallup was a very I-live-on-my-own type of thing. No meals, it would just be like having an apartment. They have their bar there too for social hours. I think my mom needs a little bit more than just an apartment. They were more like little apartments because they had the ovens and everything where the other places had just microwaves. They had tons of activities. They had their little pool table, card rooms, a pub that they have social hours in where you get a free drink and there were pretty much a lot of things. The facility was nice, it just wasn't for her.

I toured Affinity at Puyallup. Everybody was friendly. I actually was looking for a 2-bedroom, but there wasn't one available. With a 1-bedroom, I am downsizing quite a lot; so I'm just hoping it'll be okay. I liked that they have a swimming pool. They have an outdoor eating area. I could just picture my family coming over because they said you can invite family to come over and have a barbecue. They also had a room that if I wanted family to come, they could rent for one night for $75 (which wasn't bad). They would have their own place. I thought that was cool. They have a lot of activities. They have exercise rooms, a wood bench where you can make things out of wood, a crafts room, a library, and a video room. It was very clean and didn't have a horrible smell. They especially let me know that they don't like bedbugs or any bugs, which made me comfortable. I was worried about bedbugs. It was a new place, and I thought it was good.

My in-laws are going to move into Affinity at Puyallup. We chose this place because of the location for them, and it's safe to get around. The apartments are newer and very nice. It's only a year old, and they have air conditioning inside the apartment, which is unusual. The staff members are great; they're very nice. It's an apartment complex, so there are no meals. They have bingo, a movie theater, a crafts room, a bar where they hold happy hour a couple of times a month, a pool-table room, a poker room, an exercise room, a library, and a family room, and if you have someone who comes to visit, there is an apartment they can rent.
