"My mother-in-law moved into Village Concepts of Auburn–Brannan Park. I chose it because I liked the layout, I liked the cleanliness, and I liked the way the staff was set up to take care of the residents. They have several activities every day, things going on constantly during the day, so it gives her time to pick and choose what she'd like to do. Her apartment is nicely laid out and it is freshly painted. It has new rugs in it. It's got a little kitchen area with a microwave. And then she has a separate bedroom. In general, the food is good. They've gone through a replacement of the kitchen staff lately and the food now has turned out to be quite good. And I've eaten there many times. They have a library and a theater, which has just been redone. They have a beauty salon, which my mother-in-law uses. They've got washers and dryers. They've got a bistro area where they have activities. If she gets hungry, she can get something to eat 24 hours a day. And they have happy hour on Friday afternoons with live entertainment. The staff is very attentive. Downstairs has been freshly repainted. They've added new flooring and carpets down in the dining room and the entryway, and it looks nice."

"My relative is here. It is the closest one that I can find. The staff seems to be very friendly and take care of him really well. They have apartments where you bring your own furniture. It has everything you need to keep busy. "

"My father is in Brookdale Foundation House. It is a nice building, they have a nice facility, good food, and the apartments are clean, but expensive. So far, the staff has been very good. They answer any questions, and he's been getting help showering and a little bit of this and that, but nothing major. They offer all kinds of activities inside the building, outside the building, and trips to go out, to eat, to entertainment, to the casino, and all kinds of stuff like that. The food is excellent. Value for money is a five if you can afford it."

"We toured Cogir of Kent. It's very clean and very organized. The artwork was on the walls and the facility was very nice. We had no issues whatsoever with the facility itself. All of the staff was very friendly. We spoke with several residents and the staff. They were knowledgeable and easy to talk to. We had lunch there and the food was good. It was cafeteria style. The only downside was they do have staff turnover as far as the kitchen staff. The facility is relatively new. It's only two years old, so it's in very good condition."

"I like Brookdale Allenmore a little better than the other places because the dining room was smaller and more intimate. The one-bedroom had a really big bedroom, a nice kitchen, and a nice view. The residents seemed very friendly. It's near a bus station. The staff member during the tour was wonderful, and their cook was really good. The food was wonderful. They had a little varied menu, and the service was faster because it's a smaller place. They had the ability to transfer you to another place if you need more services like assisted living."

"I toured Life Manor Independent Living. It was very good. The staff showed me the apartment. She showed me the studio first, and then I saw the one-bedroom, which was nice and clean. She was very pleasant. I got to see different rooms at the place, and we talked about me moving in. We passed by the dining area. The facility is not new but well-kept."

"I toured Farrington Court. It was more like an apartment building. Because of that space that I was looking for, the studio was on the third floor. But it was spacious and it had a full kitchen. Everybody was so nice. I have nothing negative to say about it. They were all wonderful to me and welcoming and wanted me to live there. They had an activity for you every day, throughout the day. If you wanted to go downtown, the bus that they had available was ready there. They had a schedule. Everybody had schedules for going outside of the building to go where they wanted to go. Whatever you wanted to do, they were there to help you to make sure that you had a wonderful experience living there. Because you were paying all that money, then they made sure that you got your money's worth. Farrington Court has been around for quite a while, but it was still a beautiful building. The pool that they had was on the inside. They made sure that I knew everything that was happening there and told me about different things, each aspect of the place itself. They made sure they were very open with me. The food was delicious, too."

"This is the one my mom chose after looking at a few others. That is the one she likes. It is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice. She is in a one-bedroom apartment. Everyone seems to have a great time. They all go on their activities together. I've eaten with her a few times, and the food is good. It's been great."

"We were able to visit Fountain Court Senior Living, and it's quite adequate for our needs. We really liked it. We were able to look at the independent living side of the place. My first impression was that it's very nice. It was not a huge institutional-looking building. The independent living facilities are duplex cottages, and I like the idea that they had a little one car garage. It was a very nice facility. Sarah showed us around. I think she was kind of inexperienced, but that works fine with us, it was not a problem. We couldn't try a meal because they were still closed down. They were just delivering the meals to the rooms. We were able to get a look from a different part of the building and it looked adequate. It looked just like a normal cafeteria. They have less activities than some of the other facilities that we looked at, though I don't know if we are going to be involved in those, it is not that important for us. They had a library, and a beauty shop, but it is not in operation because of the virus. They have washers and dryers in each unit. I really appreciate that because a lot of the others don't have that. It didn't stick in my mind. Although it wasn't really upscale, it looked very clean."

"I have been very impressed with Gen Care communities. The Point Ruston facility is modern and beautiful. The range of services and resources available to their residents is exceptional. This area of Point Ruston feels like a small bustling city with many shops and restaurants that residents would likely enjoy exploring."

"My grandparents have had a wonderful experience here. Everyone has been to kind and helpful to our family. There are so many fun activities for my grandparents to enjoy. We also love all the family events that are fun for grandchildren and great grandchildren."

"I am in the process of getting into Reserve at Seatac. It is a very nice place. The people are very accommodating. All I have to do is give them one piece of documentation, call them back, and very soon I should become a resident there. It may be a week or two before I move in, but I'm looking forward to it. I'm very excited. I definitely was able to visit the Reserve at Seatac. Reserve at Seatac is mainly for people 55 and older; it is a very nice place. The apartment that I more or less want has everything in there. It has a washer-and-dryer, which is very nice. It has a refrigerator, a range, and a dishwasher, which is an added plus because that is what I wanted. They have a terrace, additional storage, and parking for their residents. They allow maybe one or two pets there, but of course you have to pay a pet fee. It is great because my cat can also be there with me; I'm really quite happy. Their staff has been very accommodating. They keep in contact with me by phone and by email. The place looks very nice, is very clean, and accommodating. I understand they have security, and that's very good, too."
