We toured Cogir of Kent. It's very clean and very organized. The artwork was on the walls and the facility was very nice. We had no issues whatsoever with the facility itself. All of the staff was very friendly. We spoke with several residents and the staff. They were knowledgeable and easy to talk to. We had lunch there and the food was good. It was cafeteria style. The only downside was they do have staff turnover as far as the kitchen staff. The facility is relatively new. It's only two years old, so it's in very good condition.

I went to Cogir of Kent. I thought the building was well-kept and the food was good. The people were very welcoming. The person who gave us the tour was extremely helpful and very nice. They took a lot of time to answer our questions without being too pushy. The dining area was centrally located, clean, and spacious.

Cogir of Kent was very good, but it was a distance from my house. The tour was very good. They had the same setup as the other place. They showed me a studio apartment. The staff was very nice. There was one person that led me around. I was so amazed that I didn't pay too much attention. I didn't realize that any place could be that nice.

Cogir of Kent was the one that we would have chosen for my friend. What we liked best about it was the warm welcome, this beautiful room, and the amenities that were in that room, and just the feel of it. It's a studio, but it had really tall ceilings. It was beautifully appointed. It had a washer and dryer in the unit, as well as a full kitchen, oven, and dishwasher. We saw the independent living at this time, but with the availability of more care should she need it. Every unit had its own patio, and she could bring her cat. I'm sold. I'm ready to move there. I've been telling everybody how great this place is. The staff was very friendly and very informative. They had great follow-ups, too. It was like walking into a four-star hotel. They have a gym. We didn't get up there, but there's a rooftop patio. They have van service, no set times for meals, and a beautiful menu. It's a great location.

I toured Cadence at Kent-Meridian. I loved everything about it. The rooms were nice. I saw the studio room and the one bedroom. They had the washer/dryer in there. They had a full kitchen if that's what you wanted. The people have been very lovely and friendly, even the residents. They would recommend you to come to live there because they have been there for a while, and so they understand perfectly how it works. The staff was very thorough and gave me a wonderful experience there. You have a nice view of places that you can walk to and you're close to the downtown area of Kent. And so, there are plenty of places for you to go and plenty of activities there.

I toured Cadence at Kent-Meridian. It is beautiful. It is brand-new. They have been very open with everything. My problem is that it is too expensive. They serve beautiful food. I have been there on several occasions where they served luncheons. They are very centered on helping the seniors. I tried the food on several occasions. There was one occasion that they called me and delivered food to my home. It was delicious. I could order off of the menu, and they had a wide variety of food. Everything was very good. They have entertainment and lots of activities going on. It would be a wonderful place for a senior to be. Should a person need extra care, they can provide that also. They have a nurse on staff. They are in a community where there is a dentist across the street. My attorney is across the street. There is a senior attorney. It is very locally central for any help that anyone needs. They take you to the doctor, if you have to go. You can have your own car there If you need or want to. There isn't any negative about that community. The apartments were beautiful. I looked at the one-bedroom. Then I looked at the one that was smaller, which had the living room and the bed in the same room. They are beautifully appointed kitchens. You don't need a kitchen because you can go downstairs and eat anytime you feel like eating. Their bathrooms are very well-appointed. Like all senior living places, their closets are small. It is beautifully kept-up and very clean. It has a theater and an exercise room. It has an area if you want to have your family come for dinner. There is a private eating area for them. It is a room with a very large table and a lot of chairs, so that you could have the family bring food or you can get it from the restaurant. It is restaurant style eating.
