"Bridgeport Place is a very clean and extremely comfortable place. The staff is very welcoming. They have a game room, library, computers, and gardening. The dining area is fantastic and clean, and there's plenty of room to get around for walkers and wheelchairs. The services are great. My husband is not able to participate, but there are a lot of activities going on."

"my mom Jean has lived here for 2 years and although the transition to Cogir was tough, I don't think it was Cogir's fault. They have really worked hard to keep the resident's experience coherent and they have improved quite a few things. There is still some work to do with communications between the staff (who are lovely caring people, real angels) through management to family. I'm confident we'll get there, though. Mom has had to go to the ER multiple times and they have done an exemplary job getting her there and managing her return when I was not able to. I recommend you consider them for your precious parents."

"I toured Aspire Care Adult Family Home. I like the idea that there's a person there to resolve issues as opposed to a waiting list. They have a good ratio. It's a family neighborhood. It's not a huge building. It's just a single-family home. They have wheelchair-size doorways that can handle wheelchairs and wheelchair-accessible showers. I looked at their menu. It seemed OK."

"My mom moved into Sound Vista Village a couple of weeks ago. So, we're kind of new there, but for the most part, everything is going well. I like the smaller community, and it seems like the level of nursing and care that my mom is getting is much better than where we were. The staff is great. Everybody is in the mood all the time. Big smile on their face. So life is good. The rooms were nice and clean. The food was good. They have all kinds of good stuff. They've got arts and crafts. They've got a book club. They have happy hour groups where people come in and sing."

"Spring Ridge is close to where we live. It was nice, clean and it smelled good. The people were very nice. They showed me the rooms and answered all of my questions. They have a beauty parlor and an activity room. We went into one of the resident's rooms to see how she had it set up. She was very accomodating and said she liked it there. It seemed to me that the residents there are satisfied and content. "

"GenCare LifeStyle at Point Ruston was a beautiful facility. They're beautiful there. It's a nice facility. It's a brand-new facility. They've got a swimming pool. They've got all kinds of things. They've got activities on a daily basis, and they're a wide range of activities. They were just getting started with doing outings when I was there. They got events in the facility itself, and then also out in the community. The staff seemed very nice, very friendly, and very welcoming. The apartments seem standard from all the different places I've seen. They were very nice."

"I took a tour of Woodland Village. It's a very nice place. It is clean and seems to be well managed. The staff who gave the tour was very nice, gave us a lot of information, and was willing to answer our questions. The dining area was very nice. I have not had the food there, but they have a regular menu like you order at a restaurant, and it looked good. In terms of activities, they offer a lot of card games, and they have a bus that can take you out to the casino. They have all kinds of different activities there that I know of. This is also close to where we live, so it's convenient for me."
