My sister and I toured Fieldstone Cooper Point, and it was very nice. Ideally, if we were able to go there, that's where we would want my father to go. It was very clean. There were lots of different activities for the residents to do. The staff was very friendly and very nice. For folks wanting to live in assisted living, it seemed to provide them with a good balance of independence and assistance as needed. The person at the front desk assisted us. She was in the reception area. She was very nice and very friendly. We didn't have an appointment for the tour, but she let us go ahead and walk around in the main areas and get a good sense of it. The facilities were very clean and very well appointed, and the layout was very nice.

I went to Fieldstone Cooper Point in Olympia. It is a large facility, and I toured the assisted living section for my mom. When I got in there, the entryway looked like a little community with a theater, and Sound of Music was playing that week. People sit and talk to one another in a little cafe, so it was very engaging-looking. It was bigger than the other place I visited, so there was a lot more that they have going on there. When I was there, people were having milkshake snacks together. They also had a lot of different employees that were working and assisting in different ways. I think it looks like a nice place for a bigger facility. I remember that the person who accommodated me was helpful, answered questions, and was very friendly. I felt positive about that visit.

Fieldstone Cooper Point Olympia was very clean. My friend went with me and when we went in as visitors, we were required to wear a mask. She had to wear a very uncomfortable mask throughout the tour because we were not residents. The residents are not required to wear the mask all the time. We also had to sign in and confirm that we had been vaccinated and that we had not been with anybody with COVID. They were very, very strict on their COVID restrictions, which was different from the other places I had visited, and it was offsetting for me. The staff during the tour was very, very helpful, answered all my questions, and took quite a bit of time showing me all the activities and the rooms that they had for different activities. One floor had offices and then they had a floor that was almost completely with activity rooms. They had a TV room where they showed movies twice a day, once at night and once during the day, and they had bingo going on at the time. They had several places where they had crafts, painting, and all kinds of stuff. They were very friendly. I saw a couple of the residents, but I didn't talk with them. They had complete dining and a complete kitchen area.

We liked Fieldstone Cooper Point enough to actually move our mom in. They're very nice. They showed us all around. We saw a lot, and then we decided. It all worked out. My sister and my brother moved her in, and they said it went fine. It was a weekend, so there wasn't any help moving things in. If it had been a weekday, Fieldstone would have had people there to move her stuff. They have quite a few activities. She's discovering those activities as she just moved in. They have a lot of activities on-site. They have an exercise room, a library, a dining room, and a snack bar. They have a lot. It's only a year and a half old. Her room is a good size for one person. It's a good size for two people, for that matter. They have a little courtyard where you take walks. Their dining room is open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. for the residence. It's close to everyone else's prices that we compared to. They're also in a beautiful area, the northwest. It's very, very nice.
