"The guy at Brookdale Allenmore was personable. He's still emailing me asking me how I'm doing and how I'm feeling, because he heard I was sick. They had quite a variety of different apartments to give you, which I thought was good. Instead of maybe one or two, he had four or five and different ones for the same thing, like for a studio, he had four different kinds of studios. I was very impressed. The guy was waiting for me outside. They had a big old sign out, "Welcome..." They had two other ladies with him, greeting me and my friend. He knows what he's doing. It's top-notch. It's very nice. Some apartments have patios. They had a lot of shopping and a lot of things to do. They were talking about their 4th of July thing they were going to be having."

"My mother did stay in Foundation House for a couple of days. They're all wonderful there. The staff, the activities and their residents, they're all great. It is a fine facility. "

"I moved in to Life Manor, and I liked the price because it was more suitable for my limited budget. The staff seemed very efficient, and so far they've been very friendly. They don't serve meals, but they do have a shuttle for shopping. I'm very comfortable here, and I have a small studio apartment which is the only space I need. "

"Village Concepts of Auburn - Brannan Park was nice. Maureen was the person who took me around and she's great and very friendly. There were people doing puzzles and they had a snack bar set up where you could sit at a counter or a little table and have coffee or tea. They offer a nondenominational church service every Sunday, as well as some Bible study, then they use that same room for movie viewing on a large screen. The rooms were nice and they had some nice amenities, too. It's an older building, but it's well maintained and clean."

"The tour experience with Cogir at the Narrows was excellent. The price wasn't bad at all. It was very well kept up. I like the meal plans. It was probably my favorite out of all of them that I looked at. The staff who toured me was exceptional. She answered all my questions. She was very polite. She showed me around and took me to a couple of different floor plans. The outdoor area was all nice, and it was close to a park, I like to get out and walk around parks and stuff. They had a hair salon. I could get my beard trimmed there. The dining area looked nice."

"We went to see GenCare LifeStyle at Point Ruston. It's brand new. It has just opened and not even a year ago. We met with the staff. She was nice. This is all towards the middle of Covid, so we had to be Covid tested when we got there, and she just showed us around a couple of different rooms and what was available. She showed us the fitness room and the pool and everything that my parents could take advantage of. She answered every question we had. We took a video and she was very patient and let us take the time we needed. It was Covid, so there was no food around, but they were talking about an area that is already built like a little expresso area, and then they would be making like cookies and cupcakes and that kind of stuff for all the people that are there. They also had a salad bar that they were getting set up, but due to Covid, they weren't able to do that yet. They're opening the fitness center up. I had nothing bad to say about GenCare, and it was very nice. We looked at both assisted living and independent living."

"Solstice Senior Living at Point Defiance was just OK. The staff members at the other two places were up and out there and used a lot of their personality. The staff at this place was just so-so. The dining area was fine. There were a lot of people sitting around, and everybody was talking and having some coffee and things. She didn't show us any of the activities, except for the puzzle room, the game room, and the library."

"I have been in this community for 9 months. I like the privacy most of all. The cleanliness and the food selection are both excellent. My daily walk around the building totally unencumbered is wonderful. Last, but not least, COGIR is a community of caring individuals. Most residents care about each other and their daily well-being. I enjoy living here. ,"

"We toured Farrington Court. All of their apartments had a full kitchen, but my mother did not need a full kitchen, and we didn't want her to even have one. It's an old facility. The person who showed it to us was very nice, knowledgeable, and seemed very caring. I liked her."

"This is the one my mom chose after looking at a few others. That is the one she likes. It is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice. She is in a one-bedroom apartment. Everyone seems to have a great time. They all go on their activities together. I've eaten with her a few times, and the food is good. It's been great."

"I was impressed with Peninsula because the staff were really friendly and very helpful. The rooms were nice. There was a little kitchen, and you can cook in the room. You also could smoke in your rooms there, which I think is kind of different because the smell ruins the whole atmosphere for everybody else. I don't smoke, but I can still smell it. The food was good, and the dining room was good. They have bingo and tours. I did find it secure enough. "
