Other amenities include housekeeping and linen service, scheduled to activities and appointments, and general maintenance and repairs to rooms. Three delicious home-prepared meals are served every day in our gracious dining room. Daily care is provided by a team of dedicated caregivers who offer all the personalized care and support residents need. Additionally, we have Home doctors and a team of licensed nurses to provide both consultation and nursing services. "Mill Ridge Village in Milton is a nice facility. You can walk to a grocery store from there. It's close to a strip mall where they have drug stores, grocery stores and you can just walk over. Location-wise, for being able to get out of the shop a little bit, it's quite convenient. The staff was also very nice. They were very enthusiastic and everybody we saw was very cordial. They have good staff, I think. The building was fairly large and it's kind of like a big circle with a courtyard in the center and the dining room was adjacent to the courtyard. It was quite nice. You go into a room with big windows and there is a courtyard with flowers and stuff so this is very pleasant. We didn't get to eat their food. We were there first thing in the morning, so there was no food being offered. The setting was quite nice though. One thing that was positive about it is that you're fairly close to many small towns. You can go to Puyallup, you can go to Tacoma, or you can get on the freeway to go up further north so location-wise, it's good. I still drive and we do a lot in the car so I like the location."

"I was impressed with Peninsula because the staff were really friendly and very helpful. The rooms were nice. There was a little kitchen, and you can cook in the room. You also could smoke in your rooms there, which I think is kind of different because the smell ruins the whole atmosphere for everybody else. I don't smoke, but I can still smell it. The food was good, and the dining room was good. They have bingo and tours. I did find it secure enough. "

"I like the location and the facilities at Brookdale Foundation House. The rooms are nice and well-taken care for. They do bingo, a drum class, exercise class, walking, field trips, and my father enjoys the shuttle service that would take them shopping and other places. All of them are super helpful and friendly. I like the way they do their menus and the little kitchens they have. They can also take the food to their room and I love all the chairs and how they've set it up. It's almost like a restaurant or a hotel versus old folks' home."

"Sound Vista Village was very clean, organized, and friendly. The people seemed happy. The lady that toured me around was open and answered all my questions professionally. I saw three different apartments. I liked the one bedroom the best because it was bigger and seemed more like a home. The other two were two different studio apartments. They were very nice, but I just couldn't see my dad living there. They were small, but they were all very nice for what they were. They supply refrigerators and a microwave inside the unit. One thing my dad didn't like was they didn't have a washer and dryer inside the apartment. These appliances were in the hallway (although they could have the option of having the staff do their clothes)."

"We toured Aspire-care looking for an adult home for my husband's father. The home was immaculate inside and out. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. We knew as soon as we met Grace Thud and toured the facility that this would be the place for our father/husband. She is so kind, friendly, and knowledgeable for caring for Alzheimer's and Dementia patients. My husband, his mom and I all feel fortunate to have had him in her care. We highly recommend any location that Grace has."

"I live in Julian Estates Gracious Retirement Living and I like the community. I like the fact that it's newer and well-kept up. The food is OK. Sometimes it's really good. There's pizza and spaghetti. They have something different going on every day. There's bingo and poker, and they play Mexican Train. Every week we have mocktails and then we have a special food item once a week prepared by them. It's expensive to live here, but the staff is excellent and the facilities are nice. It is almost looks like a hotel."

"My father is at Willow Gardens. Everybody is nice. It's really clean. All the residents are friendly. They provide three meals. I saw a little workout area, and they had bingo and stuff going on. The dining area looks really clean, it's like restaurant-style, so you have options to choose from. My dad said that the food was good, but I have not had anything there. They have an option if you're not feeling well and you don't want to go down, you can order something and then go down and pick it up. It's kind of like takeout, but you have to pick it up yourself. We had a little bit of problem setting up the payments and whatnot and there's a few questions that we still have outstanding with them, but overall they've been great. The parking does get to the point where there's no parking available. They have a secured gate, but they have not communicated what the gate code is to get in. They are a little bit pricey, but it is a nicer area."

"Village Concepts of Auburn - Brannan Park was wonderful. It looked like a great community. The staff was friendly and the facility looked really nice. I don't know them fully, but I could see that the residents were well cared for and everybody seemed happy. The residents were laughing and joking with each other, the staff was happy, and it was very clean. The people have a lot of freedom to move around. They had a lot of different activities for people to join in. I really appreciated that place. The staff interaction with each other was pleasant and happy. They all seem to get along well. To me, that's really important that the staff is happy because then the residents are more cared for."

"I liked everything about Farrington Court. All the utilities are included and they have lots of programs for seniors to socialize with each other. The staff seemed very nice and very friendly. The woman I was working with was Linday and she was very helpful and was trying hard to help us get into the place and make it work for us. They had a physical therapy room and outdoor space like courtyards."

"This is the one my mom chose after looking at a few others. That is the one she likes. It is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice. She is in a one-bedroom apartment. Everyone seems to have a great time. They all go on their activities together. I've eaten with her a few times, and the food is good. It's been great."

"I am in the process of getting into Reserve at Seatac. It is a very nice place. The people are very accommodating. All I have to do is give them one piece of documentation, call them back, and very soon I should become a resident there. It may be a week or two before I move in, but I'm looking forward to it. I'm very excited. I definitely was able to visit the Reserve at Seatac. Reserve at Seatac is mainly for people 55 and older; it is a very nice place. The apartment that I more or less want has everything in there. It has a washer-and-dryer, which is very nice. It has a refrigerator, a range, and a dishwasher, which is an added plus because that is what I wanted. They have a terrace, additional storage, and parking for their residents. They allow maybe one or two pets there, but of course you have to pay a pet fee. It is great because my cat can also be there with me; I'm really quite happy. Their staff has been very accommodating. They keep in contact with me by phone and by email. The place looks very nice, is very clean, and accommodating. I understand they have security, and that's very good, too."
