"Everybody seemed very helpful during my visit at Cedar Ridge at Bonaventure. Everything was beautiful; it would have been perfect, but they just couldn’t afford it. They have different activities like music downstairs. We had lunch there, and the food was good. Their dining area is a large and luxurious room. I like that it is in the woods. It has a good window view. "

"Avista Sumner was a very nice place. They've got very friendly people. The rooms were a little too small for us, but the community was nice. The director was nice. We had a great tour. If the rooms would have been bigger, I would have considered it for my mom. The staff I met were great. They were very friendly. I did try the food, and it was good. The dining area didn't look like anything special. It just looked like a very dull cafeteria. What I liked best about it were the location and the staff."

"I visited Brookdale Courtyard Puyallup, and I spent about an hour and a half there touring the facilities, looking at different things, and asking questions and stuff. It was good. Their staff was very informative and answered all of my questions. I'd give her an A-plus on that. I did not try the food, but I saw the menu and some people that were eating. They had some snacks and different things set out for the people throughout the day. The food looked really good. While we were doing our tour, there was a group of people in the exercise room, and they were doing their exercises. There are about 7 people in there with a person directing the exercises. I also saw a bunch of people getting ready to go out on the bus to go out to a store, and that was cute. The facility wasn't as clean as I would have liked. Some of the rooms that I went into were in the process of updating, but a couple of the rooms that I went into were move-in ready. For their meals, it was more like you went into a cafeteria or a restaurant. You went in, you ordered off a menu, and you got what you want."

"Mill Ridge Village in Milton is a nice facility. You can walk to a grocery store from there. It's close to a strip mall where they have drug stores, grocery stores and you can just walk over. Location-wise, for being able to get out of the shop a little bit, it's quite convenient. The staff was also very nice. They were very enthusiastic and everybody we saw was very cordial. They have good staff, I think. The building was fairly large and it's kind of like a big circle with a courtyard in the center and the dining room was adjacent to the courtyard. It was quite nice. You go into a room with big windows and there is a courtyard with flowers and stuff so this is very pleasant. We didn't get to eat their food. We were there first thing in the morning, so there was no food being offered. The setting was quite nice though. One thing that was positive about it is that you're fairly close to many small towns. You can go to Puyallup, you can go to Tacoma, or you can get on the freeway to go up further north so location-wise, it's good. I still drive and we do a lot in the car so I like the location."

"It is wonderful. There's a lot of social activities going on. They have a backyard that people really enjoy going out and sitting on. They are situated very close to downtown, so that's walkable for people who still can do that. It's got a very friendly atmosphere. They're very involved in the community, and so they participated in like the Fourth of July parade stuff and that sort of thing. It's very convenient for people who can walk downtown themselves. It's also very convenient for a busload of people to go a few blocks downtown and have lunch or do whatever they're going to do. The rooms were very good. They're very clean. They range from a one-bedroom to an open area where there is not a separate bedroom, but the bed is part of a larger room. They have lots of light and it's very nice. Some of the staff members are really wonderful. They're very friendly. The food is very good. They have a nice choice. For dinner, they can choose two or three different choices. If they need special meals, they can get those too. They also can have their meals in their room if they choose. They have finally been able post-COVID to take bus rides that they used to do. They have game stuff going on. There is an activity room where there are games and books in there. They have lots of books from the library. There's a lot of socialization going on in there every week. There's Friday afternoon like a cocktail hour. The staff member who gave the tour was totally delightful. The atmosphere is very nice and cheerful. People greet each other. People smile at you when you come in. I sure wish I could put my uncle in there."

"We toured White River Memory Care, and their manager greeted us. She was very nice, explained their process and billing package, went through my dad's health condition, and put him in the categories they needed to determine the level of care. We walked through the facility. It was nice and well-lit. All the employees appeared to know each of the clients at a personal level. They were eating at the time, and the food looked fine. They have a fenced outdoor area and a garden to walk around. They have a very nice activities group. Also, the staff and clientele have been there for a while. They get along well, and they know each other well. It was a very tight-knit community group of caring people."

"We toured Meridian at Stone Creek. It's nice. The little houses are beautiful. They have a special where you only pay $200 monthly for all your utilities. So, that was nice. They also have a free first month's rent, which is good, and you only have to pay a $1200 deposit to get in. So it is a good deal. I wish it has been a little bit bigger. My daughter thinks that we've been a little crowded. It's a beautiful little cottage. They were pretty. They have cathedral ceilings, a lot of light, and a little fireplace. It was an electric fireplace, and I like it."

"Spring Ridge has a very nice environment, very clean, very organized, and the caregivers are very attentive. The food is good, and there is a variety of food. They have mind games, puzzles, drawing, and stuff like that -- a very good variety. The rooms are all very nice. It is a new building for the memory care and they have remodeled it; it's very clean and very nice. But I guess they should have more caregivers. "

"We toured Aspire-care looking for an adult home for my husband's father. The home was immaculate inside and out. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. We knew as soon as we met Grace Thud and toured the facility that this would be the place for our father/husband. She is so kind, friendly, and knowledgeable for caring for Alzheimer's and Dementia patients. My husband, his mom and I all feel fortunate to have had him in her care. We highly recommend any location that Grace has."

"My mother-in-law has moved into Prestige Senior Living Auburn Meadows. They're fantastic. They make the life of an elderly comfortable. Their accommodation is very comfortable. They cleaned the apartment out including the carpet, and everything was painted. They have staff members who do above and beyond their call of duty. They're absolutely amazing. The only thing that concerns me is there's only one elevator in this 2-story building."

"Village Concepts of Auburn - Brannan Park is very helpful and has made it very home-like for my brother. They take very good care of him. We haven't gotten any furniture, but they were very accommodating and got us some furniture until we can get some shipped. They loaned us a bed, a chair, and a few things for him. He is very content with the food. There are activities like bingo and chair exercises. They also have a shopping bus. My brother's in a wheelchair and I'm very happy that they come to change his sheets, wash his towels, make his bed, clean up the place, vacuum, and mop the floors. He needs help with that. If you don't want to eat in the dining room, they will bring a meal to you. They come in every day and put his compression socks on, and then they have someone at night to come and help him take it off. To me, that's worth whatever my brother's paying."

"GenCare Federal Way has friendly staff. It just seemed like it needed an update. I did not care for the rooms. They share a room and there's like a bookcase that divides the two residents. The staff during the tour was friendly and wonderful. They were having a little Halloween celebration at that time. They decorated cards and stuff for the elderly people. They had a nice little cubicle for those who could participate. They also had nice areas where they had built some crafts. There's an area where they had some pumpkins or some flower arrangements. They also have this massive amount of activities every single day that these elderly people can choose from."

"We toured Brookdale Foundation House, which was very well-maintained, nice, and clean. The experience was wonderful. The staff member who gave the tour, Roxanne, and her experience with us was first class. The rooms were very nice. "We've had mom in Wynwood for almost one month. She has her own apartment. It's in Tacoma so it's close to myself and all of my sisters. The staff is fantastic. The apartments are fantastic. The room looked nice. It's probably about average. We pay $2305 a month and then $150 tax a month for their meals. They get three meals a day plus snacks and they basically can come and go. They have a beautiful type of restaurant downstairs that they go to where they can order off a menu. They can have the food delivered to their room. They give five free meal deliveries a month. Other than that, it would be $5 if they have a meal delivered to their room. They have a bunch of trips. They have musicians come which is really, really nice. "

"We toured Cogir of Kent. It's very clean and very organized. The artwork was on the walls and the facility was very nice. We had no issues whatsoever with the facility itself. All of the staff was very friendly. We spoke with several residents and the staff. They were knowledgeable and easy to talk to. We had lunch there and the food was good. It was cafeteria style. The only downside was they do have staff turnover as far as the kitchen staff. The facility is relatively new. It's only two years old, so it's in very good condition."
