"The people at Brannan Park were very nice. They just remodeled and getting started, so they didn’t have all their amenities updated, like transportation to doctors’ offices, and didn’t have that many residents. The woman who gave us the tour was great and very friendly. It was very clean, and the rooms and people were nice, but they didn’t have what we needed."

"Meridian at Stone Creek seemed dark. It didn't seem like there were as many activities going on as the other place. We witnessed many healthcare staff members throughout the building though. The one thing that I didn't care for is that the assisted living and the senior living were combined whereas with the other place, it's separated a little bit. The room that Meridian wanted to give my mom is classified as assisted, and if it's classified as assisted, they don't have balconies, patios, or a full-sized kitchen. For activities, they showed us a board that had certain shopping days and if they were going to a museum."

"We were able to visit Fountain Court Senior Living, and it's quite adequate for our needs. We really liked it. We were able to look at the independent living side of the place. My first impression was that it's very nice. It was not a huge institutional-looking building. The independent living facilities are duplex cottages, and I like the idea that they had a little one car garage. It was a very nice facility. Sarah showed us around. I think she was kind of inexperienced, but that works fine with us, it was not a problem. We couldn't try a meal because they were still closed down. They were just delivering the meals to the rooms. We were able to get a look from a different part of the building and it looked adequate. It looked just like a normal cafeteria. They have less activities than some of the other facilities that we looked at, though I don't know if we are going to be involved in those, it is not that important for us. They had a library, and a beauty shop, but it is not in operation because of the virus. They have washers and dryers in each unit. I really appreciate that because a lot of the others don't have that. It didn't stick in my mind. Although it wasn't really upscale, it looked very clean."

"GenCare Federal Way has friendly staff. It just seemed like it needed an update. I did not care for the rooms. They share a room and there's like a bookcase that divides the two residents. The staff during the tour was friendly and wonderful. They were having a little Halloween celebration at that time. They decorated cards and stuff for the elderly people. They had a nice little cubicle for those who could participate. They also had nice areas where they had built some crafts. There's an area where they had some pumpkins or some flower arrangements. They also have this massive amount of activities every single day that these elderly people can choose from."

"Cogir of Kent was the one that we would have chosen for my friend. What we liked best about it was the warm welcome, this beautiful room, and the amenities that were in that room, and just the feel of it. It's a studio, but it had really tall ceilings. It was beautifully appointed. It had a washer and dryer in the unit, as well as a full kitchen, oven, and dishwasher. We saw the independent living at this time, but with the availability of more care should she need it. Every unit had its own patio, and she could bring her cat. I'm sold. I'm ready to move there. I've been telling everybody how great this place is. The staff was very friendly and very informative. They had great follow-ups, too. It was like walking into a four-star hotel. They have a gym. We didn't get up there, but there's a rooftop patio. They have van service, no set times for meals, and a beautiful menu. It's a great location."

"Spring Ridge is close to where we live. It was nice, clean and it smelled good. The people were very nice. They showed me the rooms and answered all of my questions. They have a beauty parlor and an activity room. We went into one of the resident's rooms to see how she had it set up. She was very accomodating and said she liked it there. It seemed to me that the residents there are satisfied and content. "

"I've lived here almost 5 years and the staff and services are excellent. The chef and his cooks do a great job with tasty food. There is always something to do. Games, books and fun times in-house and outings once or twice a week. Trips to banks, doctors, and for grocery shopping are available. Farrington Court is very well managed. "

"This is the one my mom chose after looking at a few others. That is the one she likes. It is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice. She is in a one-bedroom apartment. Everyone seems to have a great time. They all go on their activities together. I've eaten with her a few times, and the food is good. It's been great."

"I toured Aspire Care Adult Family Home. I like the idea that there's a person there to resolve issues as opposed to a waiting list. They have a good ratio. It's a family neighborhood. It's not a huge building. It's just a single-family home. They have wheelchair-size doorways that can handle wheelchairs and wheelchair-accessible showers. I looked at their menu. It seemed OK."

"We placed my father at the Village Concepts of Fairwood. My father liked the fact that it was on the golf course and a little bit on the newer side. The rooms were bigger. The staff is kind, courteous, and willing to help. The food is pretty good. They take them off-site weekly and to appointments."
