"We were completely impressed with everything we saw at the Brookdale Foundation House. We liked the people, the facility itself, the decor, the layout of the common rooms, and the lobby. The only thing I will say that was better-looking in the other place we toured was the workout room. They do exercises here, mostly where you're sitting down and doing upper body exercises. They had a wonderful inner courtyard. The dining room was great, and the menu was great. Not only the rooms, but the way that their bathrooms were set up was really neat. There were lots of extra places to hang on to things. They had a really nice kitchen area with a full-sized refrigerator. They had a game room, where they did different little gambling and bingo. All of the staff members that we saw were really upbeat and enthusiastic. We didn't get to try the food, but the menu looked very good."

She was very nice, explained their process and billing package, went through my dad's health condition, and put him in the categories they needed to determine the level of care. We walked through the facility. It was nice and well-lit. All the employees appeared to know each of the clients at a personal level. They were eating at the time, and the food looked fine. They have a fenced outdoor area and a garden to walk around. They have a very nice activities group. Also, the staff and clientele have been there for a while. They get along well, and they know each other well. It was a very tight-knit community group of caring people."

"I have my wife in Columbia Landing of Issaquah. They've been very good as far as letting me know what's going on with her and keeping in contact with me. So far, I'm quite happy with them. The rooms are very nice. The entire facility is quite nice. The staff is friendly and informative. They seem to be quite patient and deal well with the residents. My wife has a shared room with another person. It's well furnished and maintained nicely. There are windows in it, and it's quite homey, nice, and clean. The dining area has a pleasant atmosphere. It's well furnished and kept well. They have a complete schedule of activities from 8:00 in the morning until night. There's a movie theater. There are hands-on activities and one-on-ones with people that keep them engaged in games, there are manual dexterity exercises, and they take them on scenic tours."
