My mother passed away recently after living at Olympics West Assisted Living for the last two plus years. My wife and I can not say enough kind things about the staff and the care that they gave to my mother! It has been a very rough and trying couple of years, due to covid19 and the on again off again shut down of the facility, as far as visiting. Like all facilities now days, they could absolutely use additional help to do the sometimes thankless work that they do to take care of the elderly. We would like for all of them to know that the care they provide is very important and appreciated! The facility is always clean, and there is an abundance of activities provided for those who want to attend. My mother loved the food! Again, we thank the staff for the tender care and attention that was always provided.

I went to look at the Olympics West Retirement Inn. I liked the area because my mom is in Olympia, so it was close. Everybody seemed pretty friendly. I think the one thing that bothers me the most about them is the turnover at most of the places. The room looked really nice. If we get to the point that my mom needs to go into one, I plan on going back to this one. Everything was set up for them. They only just bring their own furniture. They have a microwave and a very small kitchenette, because I think they try to encourage you to go to the cafeteria. They provide three meals a day. The facility was very clean.

We went to Olympics West Retirement Inn. It was nice. It wasn't my first choice, but I thought everybody was nice and enjoyed our tour. The rooms were small, but they were clean. The staff was all professional. The person who accommodated me was very good. The dining area looked very nice. It seemed like they had quite a few activities. They had bus tours, and they had card games and different activities.

I toured the Olympics West Retirement Inn's assisted living. I think that they were low on staffing but everyone that worked and lived there was very friendly. The residents that we met seemed happy and well-cared for. They had activities planned for each day for the residents. They have a big activities calendar up, I just don't remember the specifics of what they do, but they did seem to have a variety. The person that gave us our tour spent a lot of time with us, too, and answered questions. There was no pushing at all. You didn't feel like they were just trying to push you to move in. The staff themselves were very friendly and helpful. The gal who helped us wasn't extremely knowledgeable, she couldn't answer all of our questions. We were there on a weekend though and she wasn't the usual person that shows people around. It was the weekend during our visit and it seemed like they were low on staff. The building, in its entirety, is older but I think their money probably goes towards medical staff. Their rooms were small and outdated so that really wouldn't have worked well for my in-laws too. The biggest room we saw there was very small. I don't know if they had bigger rooms, but from what they had to show us, it's too small. Even those that are connected, they connected rooms by putting a door in between to give more space to couples, were still too small. The building itself was huge though.

Olympics West is very comfortable and very easy to get around and navigate. The rooms were clean, a little small but very comfortable. So far, we've only met one staff member, and she was awesome. They offered a salon, a big library, a game room, and an ice cream parlor. What we could see on their activity calendar are a lot of games, interactions, and discussions. We've toured several places and my dad has decided he'll go here, which is a smaller community. They have both independent and assisted living. It's an older building but very kept up and my dad commented that it feels like home.

My mother was in the Olympics West Retirement Inn until she died in 2019. It was awesome, and I have nothing but excellent things to say about them. It is large and well kept. Their landscaping is beautiful, it's very well appointed, and they have lots of caregivers. They gave her lots of attention, they had activities, and they worked very hard to keep their residents engaged. The food was good, and mom liked it. They go places, and they have bus trips. Their staffing was wonderful, they have nurses I worked with, and the nurses and caregivers loved my mom. They were great.

Although Olympics West Retirement Inn was an older facility, everything was clean. The staff members were all friendly and helpful. They continued to be helpful until now, so I'm still in touch with them as we try to nail our search down. They also invited us to stay for lunch, and the food was good. We had choices of what we wanted to eat, and it was very balanced. We looked all over assisted living and independent living. The dining hall was very big and spacious. People seemed happy too. It was at the top of our list, and we really liked it.

My friend is staying at Olympics West Retirement Inn right now. It is economically priced. They offer haircuts, fingernail clips, and free meal a day to the residents. Each person has his or her own separate room, and the back patio looks pretty with flowers around it. I think it is a very popular facility. It has been here for a long time, and I have known people generations ahead who stayed there. It is also a big place. It has a large cafeteria and the facility looks comfortable, and well appointed. It has recreation rooms and at least two big open rooms for the people to play games. All the rooms have everything you need and they are nice and clean. There is a TV and the bathroom in the assisted living is large, so that is nice. The staff is also very friendly.

I visited Olympics West Retirement Inn, and I liked that there's a grand piano in the main room. It was fixed up really nice, even though it was an old building. I will go back there next Saturday with my daughter so she can take a look at it. They have transportation, a TV room, and a library.

Olympics West was very clean but very old. When I walked in the door I was greeted by 20 people sitting in wheelchairs. It's a different level of care than an independent community, so it was not what I was looking for. I could tell when I walked in the door that they couldn't have impressed me because I didn't want that kind of an environment for my friend. However, if she was older or more needy, it might be a good place. The staff seemed very pleasant, but the rooms were very old. I didn't like it at all. They took two studio apartments and they knocked the wall between them down, so one bigger room had two small sinks, two small bathrooms, and a bigger space, but they didn't work to make it more modern. They're remodeling but they're not making it better.

My dad was in Olympics West. I liked it and thought that they treated him well, and he was closer to the family. They didn’t have big closets. I thought the staff was really nice and treated him and my mom really well.

My friend was very happy at Olympics west and the staff was very friendly. They had quite a variety of rooms. The assisted and retirement were all in the same building, you don’t have to keep moving.

This is a wonderful assisted living capable retirement place for independent living. The staff is warm and caring, the residents are friendly, and my Mom has been there 6 years and is very happy. She started with idependent living, then went to assisted living. It is conveniently located as well.
