"They were most helpful, caring, and patient while caring for my mother-in-law, even when she was in extreme pain. The nurses looked after her as if she were a member of their own family, and knew us by sight, as we became a nightly fixture. The doctors on staff were very responsive and we seldom heard a complaint come from any resident. The facility itself is clean, however it could do with a remodel. My mother-in-law's health deteriorated while there as her battle with cancer began to consume her. She was placed on a special diet to assist her in her battle and though she seldom felt like eating, the nurses devoted much of their time sitting with her, and encouraging her. When the pain rose above a certain level, she was taken care of quickly, which comforted us, as well. After she passed away, we received the most beautifully written condolence card signed by many of the staff. It touched our hearts and their kindness will never be forgotten. "

"The grounds at Caroline Kline Galland Home look beautiful, the staff has been very good working with my dad, and they're trying to get him so he can be a little more independent. I'm really happy with them. He was in quarantine when he got there; they're working very hard to get everybody safe. He said that the food seemed to be fine, it's kosher, though he's not Jewish. But they will allow you to bring in food from outside, so we've brought him food a couple of times now. Some of the issue is just with the communication, and trying to manage everything during the pandemic. The staff I've dealt with have been great, they've been very helpful, and seemed to be very concerned. They're trying to make sure that my dad's being taken care of. From what I've seen, the place looks really clean."

"My mother stayed at the Caroline Kline Galland Home in a transitional care unit, so it was a little different than the regular nursing home for long-term care. It was skilled nursing, so they took fine care of her. They had plenty of activities there. I had a mother-in-law who stayed there for eight years in the memory care unit. It is a perfectly good nursing home. They offer all kinds of activities like games, entertainment, and sing-alongs. The food was fine. It’s kosher food because it is a Jewish home. "

"Timber Ridge is fabulous; they only thing is it takes four months to get out of it, which is a big pain. But it’s the nicest place I have ever seen. The food is absolutely 5 star, and the rooms are spacious. Mom has been here for 10 years now. The only problem is my mother is mostly blind, and my sister is leaving the area; that’s the reason why she is leaving. "

"I visited this facility and spent about a week meeting the staff and visiting with residents. The nursing assistants (who provide care directly to the residents) are all very hard working, and they seem to have a personal attachment to many of their residents. They meet daily to discuss changes in each resident's condition, so they are all aware of any new needs or concerns. The residents seemed to especially enjoy mealtimes when they were almost all able to sit together (and the food looked appealing). "

"Sea Mar has been a blessing in disguise. Although I am firmiliar with a number of facilities due to other family members needing temp & perm placement. I was under the impression that Sea Mar Care Center was a Spanish facility. This is not true. Although they were founded to support the latino community they are so much more than that. I only wish that when I was looking for placement for my mother & father years ago I would have known what a great place it is. I have never experienced a facility with such family type values. The staff is not only friendly, but knowledgable. The fact that they were able to care for my uncle's immediate needs (rehab) and then transfer him to their lesser level care facility (Cannon House)was great. My uncle is now seen by the same physician that he saw at the Care Center & if things continue the way they are my uncle may be able to go home soon with the help of their home care. Sea Mar bless you!!!"

"My 92 year old dad stayed at Stafford for a month to rehab from a knee injury. He had also stayed there 6 years earlier to rehab from hip replacement. He was able to have a private room. It’s an older building, not fancy, his room was clean and spacious. The staff was super friendly and kind to my dad. Listened well. They were very welcoming to all of his visitors and invited visitors to watch or participate if he was in rehab when they arrived. I will have to say, there are some grumpy residents, for sure, being older and away from home and healing can be hard. It helps so much if family can visit every day. The staff can’t get everything to everyone. But if you help your loved one settle in and adjust and feel confident, the staff is much more able to do their job. My dad has a great attitude and is very kind. That is so helpful. Partner with the staff for your loved one’s care as much as possible! My dad enjoyed the rehab room and group therapy. There wasn’t a lot to entertain him on his floor and he ate in his room. But being there to rehab, i think that worked well for him. Some care centers look really fancy and this one doesn’t. But it was clean, and we really enjoyed getting to know the staff. "

"Don’t come stay here if you want control of your juices and canned soda pop. They’ve taken my personal fridge even though I don’t keep food in it. The staff is mostly good. The treatment, personally, is good. I love my room with a good view of what I call the garden path. I’ve been here 7 years. Food is okay, they give choices"

"My experience is quite positive as most if not all of the staff communicates well with my wife and has shown nothing but complete courtesy to me and my son. From the time she started 2 years ago to the present I enjoy taking my son to pick her up as the residents enjoy talking with him and making them smile. The staff enjoy his laughter and him sharing his Lego creations as well as his funny dance moves. From what I have heard the residents share their opinions on how well the facility treats them and makes them feel at home. With this said their experience at Wesley homes is positive and they have stated that they would like to extend the information of the facility to their friends and family. Overall my complete experience with how the facility is run and how well my wife has been treated I would attempt to have people that I know either work there or live there. "

"I found the facility to be alright. Funishings and decor were sparse and dated, they felt a little old and dingy. It was often difficult to find people who were working and many were not friendly or helpful. I think that the rooms needed to be freshened up, the paint and fixures needed updating. the workers didn't seem to be that friendly with my relative who was staying there. they were a little rough when dealing with her. maybe they are overworked and underpaid? the atmosphere seemed sad i believe that more could be done to improve the quality of life for the residents. "I thought my son had good care at North Auburn, and I don't have complaints with the staff. They were very good and very friendly to him. The food was good and had a nice variety with a choice of three juices, hot chocolate, or coffee while waiting for the meals. He was in a shared room that they did a good job keeping it and the room him clean."

"There are a lot of activities available to the elders, and the activity leaders are often optimistic, which adds a good vibe to the environment. Patients who are initially unwilling to join the activities are eager and enthusiastic by the end. Food selection is also quite good, and the chefs are very attentive to the dietary needs of each patient. Many services are provided, such as physical therapy, exercise circle, and occupational therapy. The staff are accommodating to the patient's and their visitors' needs: we would be given access to the kitchen and supplies (such as straws and liquid thickener) to make things easier. We were really relieved to put our family member in the care of this facility, and it also made caring for him easier. Socializing with the residents is encouraged, and because of this, we made a few friends among the other patients. The only reason why this facility receives a 4 instead of a 5 is because a few individual staff are sometimes unfriendly. "

"There was one person at The Kenney who was great and toured my daughter and me around. We had lunch there, and everything was fine. They gave me a list of the activities that they had every month. It's in a residential neighborhood, and I was looking for some walkability for other activities. They also wanted a big fee payment upfront. "

"My mom is at Swedish Acute Rehabilitation Unit - Cherry Hill. She is in their intensive rehab. She had her stroke a week ago yesterday. She had just been in the hospital for a week, and they moved her to rehab on Wednesday. The room that she has is very pleasant, and she's on her own. They seem to be quite attentive. She's getting three hours of rehab a day, so I like that. I would give them a 5 just because the people there are concentrating on trying to repair them, so that's what I like. The three-hour-a-day seems helpful in her recovery process. The staff is very professional. They're very warm and friendly with her. They keep everything in shape and keep her going. Her speech was affected greatly, so she is in that frustrating stage when you're trying to get words out and not finding them, and so that's hard, but they work with her to understand what she wants. My mom does not like the food. She's a very picky eater. I sat with a nutritionist yesterday and we talked about things that would make her not feel good about eating because she is picky and grazes rather than sit down eat a whole meal. So, he helped me figure out how to request the food. They don't do social things. The activity is physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy. That's what they're concentrating on. It does seem stimulating to her."

"My sister and brother-in-law are in Wesley Homes Lea Hill. The care is very good, but the facility is somewhat lacking. They don't keep it up well, and it needs more fresh paint. The staff is very caring and very professional. Overtime they had a number of different chefs that cooked for them, so the food varies quite a bit, but overall it's fair. The rooms are very well designed, and the layout is good in general, but not kept up quite as well as it might have been. They are also particularly very, very careful about COVID issues. I've never seen anybody in the swimming pool, but they are very, very active otherwise, like they do many tours outside, entertainment, and quite a variety of activities, almost unlimited of them."
