Timber Ridge is fabulous; they only thing is it takes four months to get out of it, which is a big pain. But it’s the nicest place I have ever seen. The food is absolutely 5 star, and the rooms are spacious. Mom has been here for 10 years now. The only problem is my mother is mostly blind, and my sister is leaving the area; that’s the reason why she is leaving.

We toured Timber Ridge at Talus. They were very helpful. They had a lovely library. The unit was much smaller than the other two places that I've looked at. The food was very good, and it was restaurant-type dining. You could eat in the main dining room or different places. So, that was nice. They had a beauty shop and they had a pool, and that was very important to me because I like water aerobics. They were very supportive of the residents' interest. They had a general meeting room. This facility was located in a very nice residential area. The front desk staff was efficient, knew their job well, and was very hospitable. The building was very nice, but there was no adequate parking.

We've chosen Timber Ridge at Talus. The underground parking was large. They seemed to have lots of activities, their clientele seemed to be a little healthier than the other places we looked at. There were several restaurants. There was a reading room with all the newspapers. There was a woodworking shop, a theater, and just a lot of nice sitting areas. We had dinner and it was excellent. It looked like a five-star hotel when we looked at it. It was very clean and very well-run.

I looked at Timber Ridge (Briarwood at Timber Ridge). It's absolutely elegant, it is beautiful, and it is first class. It's very expensive and it's top of the line. The appearance of it is like a ski resort. It is not like an old folks' home, a rest home, or a nursing home facility at all. It's a beautiful, hotel-looking like ski resort. It's woodsy. It is not urban; it's very suburban. I did not have any food there. They were on COVID regulations, so the dining room was closed. I could not see people who lived here.

Timber Ridge was very nice, very new, in very good shape, and very clean. However, it was also very compressed. The staff treated me very nicely though. They have a very good staff. They have a very nice swimming pool, an exercise room, an art room, a meeting room, and an auditorium. They're all very upscale.

Timber Ridge at Talus was a beautiful place. It was a high rise building and very new, but the parking was underground. The rooms were very large and very nice. I was there at Christmastime, and all of their salespeople were off, so I just met one person. The food was very good. It didn't appeal to me because it was a tall building and the parking would be a problem for me. It was a little expensive.

I met one staff at Timber Ridge of Talus, and she was very accommodating. The place was very warm and welcoming. Their food is very good. They offer different kinds of activities for their residents.

As a young females in her 20s, I would want to live at Timber Ridge. The facilities are absolutely gorgeous. There is a beauty salon, cafe, library, and art studio along with many other amenities. All of the residents seem to get along really well. The people who are in Briarwood Health Center receive better care than any other nursing home, assisted living facility or retirement communities that I have ever been to.I have visited Timber Ridge twice now. The nursing staff seem to really care about their patients. In other homes that I have visited, it is hard to get staff to even listen when I tell them a patient needs to be transported. In other homes, a patient's oral health will deteriorate because they will not perform the basic tasks (i.e. brushing teeth) needed to keep them in good health. At Timber Ridge, all staff are attentive. Even if the resident is not assigned under them, they will make sure all needs are address. Because of this level of care, their overall health is drastically better than those in other facilities. In addition, residents of this home seems to feel the sense of community. It appears that most of them get along well and like to joke around with each other. They are overall that happiest people I've encountered with my job.
