My brother is here. The nursing staff has been wonderful, and he's loving the food. He has a private room with a private bath. They're doing well with him, and we're pleased. His room is small, but it's good for him. They're doing a lot of remodeling, too. But we're happy with everything they've done for us. They put the TV up real quick and they put a board for him, so that he could see his schedule. They've done real fast whenever we've had any request for the maintenance people. They come by and ask him if he wants to participate in activities, and everybody has been real sweet to him. The residents seem really happy. They have an alternative menu if they don't like what they're serving, and they've been accommodating because he doesn't have any teeth. It's the most reasonably priced in the area.

Blue Ridge Senior Living of Richmond was a nice facility. Their prices were a little bit lower. The gym was more like a little fitness center for them to get some activity and to bring some of the seniors in there to do things. The staff were very nice. They were incredibly polite. There were a lot of smiles and everything. They're very patient with all of our questions. They had everything that we were looking for, for my father specifically, and that would be a great place for anybody who could afford it for assisted living. Everything looked clean. It may need a little bit more updating in some spots, but other than that, as far as being clean, that was nice. It's near a shopping area with a grocery and stuff like that.

My dad is in Blue Ridge Senior Living of Richmond, they're a good facility. But there are two situations I have a problem with, one is they have no security there. And in the evenings, that's a problem because it's too easy to have access to the building with no one there. They need to have at least one or two security officers there to secure the premises. His room now is fine, you could also get a suite there where you could be by yourself if you prefer, or you could have a roommate. It would be a good option for families. They give you the room and you have to furnish the room, but they have 24-hour care and there are nurses and caregivers there. The memory care is on the second floor, and that's where my father is, and the assisted living is on the bottom floor and the third floor. They don't have a stove but they have a microwave and refrigerator inside the room. The staff is good and I like the administrative staff, they're very good. The food is average. They have very limited activities, they have games but they need more activities where they go out of the facility. I think the price is worth it. They have benches outside, it's a nice layout.

Blue Ridge Senior Living of Richmond was more affordable. The facility had a slight odor to it, but it seemed clean. The people seemed to be active. The room was quite small. The staff was very nice, knowledgeable, concerned, and helpful. They had an active activity schedule. The dining room was nice and clean. They seemed to have a patio, and they had a gazebo.

I toured Blue Ridge Senior Living of Richmond for my father. The staff member was a nice young man, informative, and relatable, and I think just genuinely caring about his job. I met with him first and he put me up in the memory care. This is more a high-level facility. We went to the memory care. They have a show room, and they have the different layouts, and a range of of sizes. One was just enough to fit a bed and a closet. One of the rooms was large enough for a bed, a table, and a couch. So, the rooms ranged as far as size. I could tell it was an older building, and so looking outside, it didn't look so great, but once you go in, you can tell that there was effort and money spent on trying to make them modern and more appealing. He said that the floor layouts were the same. I did get to see everything on the first floor, so I got to see the amenities of the assisted living part, but the memory care was upstairs, and I did not see that.

I toured Blue Ridge Senior Living of Richmond for my sister. It was good. The staff was very knowledgeable of the unit and what they had to offer. They're still in the process of remodeling, and they're doing a lot of upgrades. It's making it better for the residents that are there. The rooms were nice size and more up to date than what they were before. They were nice. They have bingo, they have celebrations for birthdays and other events. I think they have people coming in, as well. It's a little far out, but it's still in the county, and it's close to a highway.

I chose this community for my mom because the price was reasonable, the facilities looked pleasant and they're also redoing it. The rooms are an adequate size, they have reasonable closet space and a sink. The food looks pretty good and they also have a hair salon. The staff is friendly and attentive. They also allow pets in there.

My husband moved in, and so far, it's good. He seems content to be there. Most of the people there are nice, and he's satisfied with the food and everything. Almost everyone on the staff is very pleasant and seems to care about the residents. I had a little trouble getting his medicine. They have new owners, so we'll see how things go with that. He has done three activities so far. The last time they went to the Cracker Barrel, and he really enjoyed that. He's starting to participate, and that's a good sign. The hallway has carpets, and I think there's an odor coming from it because it's old, but they said they will do renovations.
