Mom moved to Myrtle Beach Grove Senior Living and it's been a great experience. There's no problem. They've been very personable, very helpful, and everything's been good. It's a very clean facility. They have bingo, Jeopardy, Family Feud, and they play something every hour and a half. They have a different activity for them to participate in if they want to. That's just a nice place where the people make you feel like you're at home. They are very friendly.

I went to Myrtle Beach Grove Senior Living. Everything was very nice. I had an encounter with the person who took me on tour when a couple of the residents there stopped her and asked her questions, she was very kind and informative to them. Also, they were in the middle of cooking dinner, and the food smelled good. It's a little older building, but I like that everything is on one floor. It is very nicely landscaped outside, too.

I toured Myrtle Beach Grove Senior Living and I liked it the most, but I thought this was perfect until I found out that they have a roommate, basically and I don't want that. It was beautiful. The outside, the location, it was back in a lot of trees and stuff. They have a whole great schedule of things to do. They had like a courtyard where you could go outside, but it was all fenced and secured so the resident couldn't get out. So I like that they can get out in the air. I had no problems with them until the double room. The staff was very personable, very likable, and very informative. I saw their menu and the menu was great. Besides the main menu, they have a little menu, and if they don't like that, there are always other things available. So, that was a good thing.

Myrtle Beach Grove Senior Living was nice. They had openings. The only thing I did not like about that place was their shared bedroom had two beds in the same room and there was no bathroom. They had a common bathroom in the hallway. So, if there was a problem in the middle of the night and somebody had to go, they had to go out in the hallway. Overall, the place was nice. I just didn't like the way the rooms were set up. They had a nice area with a TV. They had activities for the people. Cleanliness was acceptable. It was very clean. The person who assisted me was also very nice. He showed me around. Memory care was on one side because they are in different buildings. He answered all my questions. I have no problem with him.

There was staff pretty much everywhere at Myrtle Beach Grove Senior Living. They renovated the units and as people moved out, they renovated some other units too. They were clean and they showed us the upgrades. Some were finished, some were still in the middle of being refurbished. We went right around lunchtime so everybody was eating lunch but they showed us what they had. They had three or four activity rooms and some had people in them. Each resident's room had the their name on it and some individual things that they wanted to hang on their doors like wreaths and stuff like that. So, it was nice and the courtyard was pretty. We saw the snack rooms and all that where they're available to get snacks 24 hours a day. It was very clean.

Myrtle Beach Grove Senior Living was excellent. I felt good about the place. The staff seemed very, very good. They have a nurse practitioner onsite two days a week but on call 24/7 and I liked that there are no visiting hours, so you can come and go as you like. We toured the memory care and the person who took me there was very personable. He has been in the field for over 20 years and he seemed to know what he was talking about. I took a list of questions and he answered all of them. I asked him if I could record our conversation, and he said, "Absolutely." The facilities were very nice. They were well-kept, clean, and had no odors. They had two group rooms where people could sit and watch TV, an activities room, a dining room, and a nice outside area that was completely fenced.

I went to Myrtle Beach Grove Senior Living. It's the one that I eliminated because of distance. I liked that it was a smaller and older facility. It didn't have as many as amenities as the other ones that I had seen, but the price was comparable with the other two that I had looked at. My main reason for that one was the distance from my home. It was a big negative for me because I just didn't want to travel 14 miles to get to my mother. It was just too far. They had all the services there. My tour was very good. The gentleman took his time. He was patient. He showed me around, and he explained everything to me. I saw residents and staff members. The biggest thing was the distance from my home.

Myrtle Beach Grove Senior Living was very nice. It was modern. The dining room was very nice. It was nice and it's very close to my house. I only saw one person that was working on the floor there that was going into rooms. I saw medicine carts, but I did not see anybody administering anything when we were there. I was there for dinner time, so I did see the residents go in for dinner. I did not see any activities going on at that time. The facility was clean and modern. The rooms were okay. They're just regular rooms. This is one of the first tours that I have taken, so I didn't know what to expect. They're unfurnished, so I did not know that we are responsible to furnish them. I was hoping it would be a little fancier for my mom. It was close to my house, and it was a decent facility. But I also would prefer more of a choice on the menu and a little more upgraded bathroom.

I toured Myrtle Beach Grove Senior Living. It was fine. They had, I believe, a community shower; it wasn't a private shower. I didn't prefer the community shower. It was clean. It was staffed pretty well. I think the residents there seemed to be getting along fine. The staff was nice and also very informative as well. There was lunch. There were daily activities that are updated on site. You can go online and see what activities are available for your loved one, so that was good, informative.

Myrtle Beach Grove Senior Living is just wonderful. It's new. The floors in the rooms are mostly a hard surface, while a couple of them have rugs/carpeting. The carpeting in the hallway can easily be maneuvered by a wheelchair or a walker. The people that I met were just wonderful. They couldn't have been more accommodating. I truly regret that I can't take advantage of it. It's a beautiful place.

I visited Myrtle Beach Grove Senior Living. It was fine, we got there when people were having chair exercises, and there were people doing book reading afterward. The staff was very nice and very helpful. Aside from exercises, they have activities for seniors throughout the day. They had a library area with books, they had a kitchen area where if they wanted to cook something, they were able to cook in the little kitchenette area. There was no stove but you were allowed to have microwaves in the room and so there was an area where you could cook if you wanted. It wasn't the right place for what I was looking for, the people there need more care than my mom.

My mom spent 3 years here. In the entire time, I never had a single complaint about the care she received. The staff become friends to the residents in many ways. They are SO caring! I would definitely refer someone in need to this facility! They are not the most high tech AL in town, but they are certainly the AL with the biggest heart for what they do!

We did a tour of Myrtle Beach Grove Senior Living. They showed us all the levels of care, they have five tiers. It was small, extremely clean, and the rooms were spacious. The staff's name is Shawn, he was accommodating and very helpful. We were not able to try the food at that point. The people couldn't wait to go eat. Watching the residents, when it came time for dinner, they were filing in very briskly. I would say, if they were shuffling to go in, that would be a different story. But they were looking forward to going in. We were there just before dinner, there weren't too many activities. They had card-playing, which my mother would love. There was a cooking lesson. They have a nice courtyard area, the people can go and sit in the shade; If they like the sun, they can go sit in the sun, and they were singing outside.

Mother is moving into Myrtle Beach Grove Senior Living in a month. The walk-through went very smoothly and went into great detail on their offerings, and what they have. The gentleman, Dean, was very helpful and accommodating. We went for two tours, one by ourselves and one in which my mother and he accommodated both. The tour was great. The rooms are very clean. They're up to date. They just got a new carpet and flooring. The facility is well maintained. The accommodations are great, whatever you need they'll try to get. They had a courtyard, a beauty center, and a library. They also have an area where they can offer you what they call like they do some kind of cooking or something like that. They also have a place to play Wii bowling, which is pretty big for some of the video games.

Myrtle Beach Grove Senior Living is all one floor, which was very important. The place was nice. Sean, the guy that gave us the tour, was very helpful. The place was very clean. It was not really huge. I have a mobility problem, so walking around here is really good because it is not too big. They had nice 1-bedroom apartments, which is what I would want. A studio is too claustrophobic for me. They were nice. They weren't quite as big as the ones at the other place, but it's an assisted living place. Their dining area looked nice. I didn't see any dirt or anything like that, so the facility looked pretty clean.

I went to Myrtle Beach Estates. That place was amazing. I was really sad that my dad couldn't go there. It was incredible. My dad's in Texas now, and I had to find him a community there in Houston, which is renowned for really good medical care, and it's been terrible. Here in Myrtle Beach, everybody was so much more knowledgeable and helpful than they were in Houston. If somebody didn't know something, they went and found somebody who did know the answer so that there was no guesswork and there was no, "Well, we told you this the first time, but it turns out we were wrong," which I got a lot of in Houston. It was so much nicer to actually just get the correct answers than have people guessing. The facility was spotless. And the really cool thing was there were residents out, like some people were sitting in the sun, some were on the rockers on the front porch, and some were walking their dogs. It was hustle and bustle, and it was really active. Then inside, right when you come in, there were people watching TV, and there were some people playing games. It was so much more active than the place that my dad lives now in Houston, which is like a mausoleum.

Myrtle Beach Estates was nice. The apartments were more than adequate. It has a bathroom and a living room and it's just for one person. The staff was great, they're knowledgeable and they allowed us to go in and look at the living area. It's clean and we were very happy with what we saw. In the future, that would be one of the places that we might like to place my relative in. I remember seeing an exercise room, a cafeteria, and an outdoor area, they were all good.

My friend moved into the memory care of Myrtle Beach Estates. They're pretty good, the staff is very helpful and nice, and they let us bring other people to bring her stuff in despite COVID. She has a studio. They're very willing and helpful to answer all your questions on the tour.

My mother moved into Myrtle Beach Estates. We can't go onsite, but everything has been good, and they've been very communicative. All we can do is talk to them on the phone, but they're very responsive, and try to help as much as they can. We thought the smaller community suited my mother better.

My father stayed in Myrtle Beach Estates Assisted Living. It was very pleasant, very good, and the people were extraordinarily nice. It was better run, and more organized than the facility he was in before. They were very easy to work with. They have a room with a music course, and it was very well attended. Each of the rooms have back doors with a patio area where they can go outside.

Myrtle Beach Estates was very nice, clean, and bright. It's one building and very convenient. The tour was very good. The staff was professional and they had materials ready for us. They answered all of our questions so there were no issues. It was a lovely little area with a walking trail. It was small, which was nice.

Myrtle Beach Estates is a very nice place. It's in a nice wooded section right off of the bypass. It's close to shopping, doctors, and hospitals. What impressed us was that they have a walking track around the building, and inside there's also a circular walkway through the building. When we were there one time, there was a lady playing the guitar and some of the residents were singing.

My mother is in Myrtle Beach Estate. The place is phenomenal. The director goes above and beyond and is involved not just with the staff but also with the residents. It is clean and brightly lit. The food is good. It has a loving and caring environment. My mom started in the assisted living part but she does have dementia, so we moved her over to a building right across the sidewalk called the Heritage House, which is made for patients with dementia and Alzheimer’s. They are fantastic over there also. The staff is above and beyond taking care of these residents and the family. They are all just happy, singing ,and dancing. Especially in the memory care, they have the patience of saints. It is just a phenomenal place. They have a lot going on, like birthday parties and decorating for every different holiday which people get involved in doing. Every Friday, they have a lunch bunch. If they are able, they take them out to a local restaurant to have lunch. They also have Friday Stroll Day where they take them out whether they are in a walker or a wheelchair around the grounds. They are so involved with the residents.

i found myrtle beach estates online and popped by for a visit. everyone was very nice and i met with the admissions girl even though i didnt have an appointment. i felt like i was given truthful answers to my questions and not a sales pitch. The rooms we looked at were beautful and all of the seniors seemed so content. My dad won't leave his house yet but when he is ready we will absolutey be going there. No need to look any further in my book.

We put my mother at Myrtle Beach Estates. It's a very nice place. The staff is very friendly, and they take care of her really well. It's very clean. I was impressed with the staff that we met. They're very sincere in taking care of the people with special needs. She is in the memory care department, and they do physical therapy. They go on little excursions, and they do all kinds of good stuff.

My mom was at Myrtle Beach Estates for two weeks. She seemed to enjoy it while she was there. They were very friendly and kind to her. The facility was clean. My mom was able to walk around outside, and she enjoyed doing that. In her room, she has plenty of room to put a few things in it.
