My mother is staying at Lighthouse. It is nice. It is out on the river. They have activities. They had an Elvis impersonator there once. They have exercise classes. They have a beauty parlor and a library. They have one, two, and three bedrooms apartments. My mother has a one-bedroom apartment with a kitchenette, and it is very nice.

The staff is very kind and helpful.. The food was terrific and everyone is very friendly. They went out of their way to welcome our whole family....having 5 great grands for lunch along with their parents. John and Michelle and Kristen have removed doors to accommodate a china closet, hung a flat screen and mirrors and have been most friendly and welcoming.

My mom moved into the Harbor Lighthouse Point in February. She didn't like it very much and she was not happy in there at all. So we had to find her another facility, which we did really quickly and we just moved her Saturday to a new facility. It seemed they were taking in many assisted care people when it was supposed to be an independent living facility. Everything was clean and it was comfortable for her, but there wasn't enough activities and the food was horrible. They need a new chef.
