"I toured Halcyon at Bridgeville. It was very clean and it's small, which is nice. Everyone seems to know everybody. The staff was wonderful. The coordinator answered every question we had and gave us extra information we didn't think about. Although they still assist with showering, all the meals are included and that's another thing, everything within the pricing was inclusive. They have a doctor that comes in. They do have extras like if you want your salon for an extra charge, but other than that everything is just activities to keep them engaged and help them out."

"I toured Paramount Senior Living at Peters Township. I saw the assisted living and memory care. It's good. It looks like a nice facility. It's just a little farther than where I wanna go. I'm gonna keep them in mind if I can't find anything closer. It's a forty-five minute drive for me. I was hoping for something a little closer so I'd be able to visit more often. It was nice that they had community areas and their own private areas in case they didn't wanna be outside with everyone. The staff was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Everything looked clean and well maintained."

"My wife’s mother was at Mount Vernon for a short while. The facilities weren’t bad. The dining area was good and clean. "

"My mother moved into Juniper Village at Forest Hills. I think it's a good place, I think it worked pretty well for her. I have no problems whatsoever, and they're very accessible to us. The room that she's in is very nice, I don't know if she's going back to that room, because she will come from the hospital, and she needs more care. She has a nice, big room with a view, she's pretty happy with the food, and the living atmosphere is pretty good. I have not seen her in too many of the activities, but she's in some of them, and they seemed pretty well gauged to her age and level. I have no complaints on that either. She was there for almost a month before she went to the hospital."

"My mother-in-law moved into Harmony at Diamond Ridge. Nicole, the one who gave us the tour several times, had the biggest impact on my mother. She was very thorough, showing us the entire facility several times, answering all of the questions, providing and explaining the care my mother would be receiving, which met all of the criteria I needed for her. And so far, so good. They're wonderful, very helpful, get her down to her meals, bring her back, take her to activities, introduce her to other residents, and make her feel comfortable and at home. She loves the food. We can also eat with her if we'd like, and we have several times. The food is wonderful. They have a special every day, but there is also a completely different menu, so if it's something she doesn't like, she can order it from there. It's the cleanest facility I have been in. They have a ton of activities. They have art class, cards, and bingo. They have a coffee chat every morning, where residents can get together. They go down to the bistro and have coffee, get to know the other residents, have a snack or something, and talk, which she did, and she likes that really well. They have a lot of different activities. You get a schedule, and it's the whole day. If you want to be doing something every minute of the day, you can be. They go on outings and take them to restaurants and stores. I chose this facility because it seemed the best fit for her. The size of the facility, the staff, the director, and everyone that we have met. It just seemed like a perfect fit for her. All the facilities that I took her to, her exact words were that they felt like home to her."

"I toured The Haven at North Hills. The living spaces are sizable. They're enough for one person, for sure. It's limited, I think, to 12 patients, which I like. It's small, and they will feed the patients. It's very clean, that's what I like about it. From observing them, the staff members were attentive to the people and to their needs. There is a sitting area with a TV and sofas, chairs, and one big dining area, which is nice."

"My uncle moved to Arden Courts last February. I choose it because it is clean, I like the people that run it and it is close to my place so I don't have to travel far to see him. The people that run the place seem to be competent and they take good care of him. They have an RN on duty and she is excellent. He has a private room that is kept fairly neat. They have activities there, but he doesn't participate. They seem to have a nice community there for people. They let me see their menu and it seems to be a nutritional menu. They try to make it as homey as possible. "

"We went to look at Arden Courts Monroeville. They have a great outdoor area. They have a walkway about half a mile long. It's all in an enclosed area, and that's very important to our particular needs. The facility seemed clean and nice. There were no odors. The patients we saw were dressed and sitting in their wheelchairs. It's kind of set up with four different pods, and each one has its own dining area. Everything was fine with the staff."

"Orion has provided a personalized care plan for my grandma who began suffering from short term memory loss which is unmatched vs. a larger corporate provider. I am comforted knowing she is being taken care of in the same manner that her family would have provided if they could have. We are so lucky to have found Orion!"

"Harmony at Harts Run is very nice. I'm very satisfied with it. The staff is very nice, and the rooms are very clean. There is plenty of room. I had lunch with my husband one day, and it was very good and very filling. They have two choices for every meal. They also have a gym. He can get a haircut or his toenails cut. There is a nurse that visits him. The facility is very clean and very friendly. It's only like two years old."

"Apple Blossom Senior Living is a newer facility. It's very clean. Everybody is very friendly. My parents are getting a one-bedroom with a living room, a kitchenette, and a very nice bathroom. It's very nice, clean, and spacious. The staff is very attentive. It was outstanding. The dining area is very nice and spacious."
