My mother-in-law went to Courtyard at Mt. Tabor for respite care. It's bright and clean. The people were friendly. The room was very nice. It's good. The staff were helpful, but sometimes they seemed short-staffed. They offered a lot of activities that seemed very appealing. My mother-in-law did not use any of them. She was in quarantine because she was contagious, so she couldn't and wasn't inclined to. But they looked quite good. I saw them posted, and it looked like they had music, exercise classes, outings, and they would have a dog come in. So there seemed to be a wide variety of activities that looked very appealing. My mother-in-law did not go to the dining area, but her food was brought in. I think the food was okay. She liked some meals, but not others.

The Courtyard at Mt.Tabor was very nice. I liked it because there was a lot of space. There were two memory care facilities there. I loved them both because there was a lot of room. Activity directors were there and working. It seemed like everybody was enjoying themselves, and they were happy, which was important to me. They looked like they were content and smiling, so they were comfortable. What I liked about this one are the colors, which were green. It looked very nice and was well-kept. I liked the way it was laid out so that the memory care patients couldn't get lost because they just went around a circle. I like the rooms. I like everything about it. Their staff was very attentive. They were all very friendly and had smiles on their faces. They seemed to be doing their job and liking it.

Courtyard at Mt.Tabor was in a nice location and it seemed to offer a lot of activities. I only spoke to one person there during the tour, but she was nice and knowledgeable. Everything seemed very clean. There was a gym, a salon, a library, and there was an area for arts and crafts.

At Courtyard at Mt. Tabor, not only did we get to meet the marketing fellow who gave us the tour, but we did get to meet several of the staff members just briefly. We were able to interface with several of the residents there. It seemed like everybody was friendly and was having a good time. We liked the idea that this was not a big downpayment to enter and this was a month-to-month kind of arrangement. Despite that, they had people who had been living there for several years on a month-to-month kind of thing. No other commitment besides that. They have a step-up in terms of care. It had a really friendly atmosphere. We didn't get a chance to eat any of the food. I'm a pescatarian, which is a vegan but will eat fish and the menu there was very limited. The marketing director was excellent. We asked them whether or not we could swap out one of the appliances because they don't have induction ranges. We would want to have an induction range in our unit and they said that would be no problem. They could accommodate that. We would buy the appliance, but they would install it and allow it to be placed in the unit. If somebody was looking for what they offer, I don't think that they could find a better place.

There was not anything that I disliked about Courtyard at Mt. Tabor. The staff was great. The place was clean. They were playing a game with the residents at that time. They had to unscramble a word, and it looked pretty fun. It looked like they were keeping their minds working. The food looked great. The people were very nice. I have nothing bad to say about it. I looked at the memory care, and the security was great. They had the doors painted, so the residents would think it was just a wall with a picture, instead of a door that they could go in. It was still locked no matter what. They were very secure. Nobody can get in. Nobody can do anything without permission or enter the premises. They have a nice courtyard. The residents get to go out and garden. They can paint a rock or whatever they want to paint on paper. They just get a lot of attention. They are not just sitting there waiting for their time to come or whatever. These people that take care of the residents have my greatest appreciation because they do such a wonderful job. They really do care about the residents. The food smelled really good. The dining area was very clean. The tables were all set up like a fancy restaurant with the napkins, the place settings, and the wineglasses.

I went to visit Courtyard at Mt. Tabor, which was a super nice place, but it was also super expensive. The facilities were beautiful and the person doing the tour was super nice. They have their own bus so they could take people on outings, which they do once or twice a week. There's nothing wrong with the place, it's just that I can't afford it. They had a patio surrounded by grass and there were places for people to socialize, or just sit and read. I saw a lot of people doing a lot of different things there. They offered for me to try the food but I didn't do it. They also provide three meals a day there.

Courtyard at Mt. Tabor had called and left me a message about the change in my appointment schedule. Unfortunately, I did not get it before I went there, but they accommodated me when I showed up. The place was beautiful. The units were spacious with a full kitchen in them (a full refrigerator, four burner stoves, and a dishwasher.) Some of them weren't updated, but they were working on it. I liked that they have a more open meal schedule and that there's a part of the kitchen that's open the majority of the day so that residents can eat a little more freely. The facilities and the activities were beautiful. It was on an 8-acre campus. There was a group of people playing bingo while we were there. They also have movies, beach trips, bowling, and scenic tours. Unfortunately, the driving distance is a little bit farther for me.

My father is in Courtyard at Mount Tabor. They've been really, really wonderful. Their activities have been fantastic. They worked really, really hard to make my dad feel at home there and they still do even though now he is a regular resident. The initial move-in was quite difficult for him because he's actually much more sort of cognitively present than a lot of the people who are currently there. I think that was hard for him to accept, but the manager and the activity manager are wonderful, and all the staff has been great. They do not accept Medicaid. One of my misgivings about moving my dad in there is that, God forbid he runs through his resources, we are going to have to move him again. The fact that they don't take Medicaid is problematic for me. There was one incident where an evening med tech accidentally put his eardrops in his eyes and caused him a lot of pain. I got a panicked call at 9:00 at night and I called. They got in touch with the manager who was already home, and she called me. It was well handled as it could have been, I think. I would have preferred that the incident hadn't happened, but I know mistakes sometimes happen. That was another reason why I was kind of like, "Oh my gosh, is he in the right place?" Then I actually heard from other people whose parents are in homes that this is better than a lot of them, so he's staying there. He's well adjusted now, and they know him and they know his meds, so it's all good. Technically, he's at the Pavilion. He's kind of on the edge of needing memory care, so we decided to keep him in memory care because that's not gonna get any better. The activity manager has been absolutely wonderful, especially when she knew that my dad was having some adjustment issues. She really stepped up and checks up on him because he's a bit of an introvert, and so he's in his room all the time. My dad is always talking about the food, "Oh the food is really good. There's too much of it. I'm eating too much." They have a restaurant that's really nice.

I went to look at Courtyard at Mt. Tabor. I like the location. It's at the corner of a city park. The facility is modern and clean. There are apartments with balconies. It just feels like it's not resident direct. It's more a top-down activity director type of thing. They have movies and crafts. They have a library. I toured two or three apartments. They keep the facility in good shape.

Mom actually lives in the independent living at the Courtyard at Mt. Tabor. She has been there a couple of years now. She is in a very nice room. They have housecleaning. Other than that, we take care of our laundry and stuff. They do offer a lot more things than what my mom is receiving. There are tons of them activities. Right now, my mom is not capable of going anywhere; she has not been involved in activities.

Courtyard at Mt. Tabor was probably my favorite out of the ones I toured. It's so close to where I live and it was a very nice facility. It just seemed like they were hitting on all cylinders. The place was spotless and just very nice all the way around and it's not as big as some of the places. Some of the other ones were huge. They were really good. Everything I saw there was what I wanted to see. The staff during the tour was excellent. I was most impressed with that facility.

Courtyard at Mt. Tabor accommodated my mother's memory care needs. We are all good. The staff is wonderful. The services are great. The food is above average, and the dining area is average. Her room is wonderful and clean. She brought all her own furnishings. She enjoys their social hour. There are tons of activities, but she has Alzheimer's, so she does not like to join things.

I looked at Courtyard at Mt. Tabor, but they did not allow pets. They had very nice facilities, but the room seemed small to me. They had different buildings, and you would have to travel to another building to have your meals.

I went to Courtyard at Mt. Tabor and it's a nice place. The only thing I didn’t like about this place is their outdoor area is not very big. Their walking paths are very small. The rooms are pretty decent and their dining room is very nice. The staff is nice.

The food at Courtyard was OK, but I think they could have offered more healthy choices. I was able to go to the gym there with the older ladies and do a little workout on my own, which was nice. I got to see a beautiful film in their nicely laid-out theater with velvety cushioned seats, which was also used as a church. It was a very nice place. The staff was very nice, and I had a nice conversation with them. I saw one apartment there, and it was awesome. It had a patio leading to the back. They're not big, but they had enough room one would need. I loved their theater because it was like a real theater, and you felt like you were really at the movies; that was really fun. I liked the gym; it was very nice.

The waiting room at the Courtyard was comfortable. I am more interested in independent living though, and it didn’t suit my needs. The dining area was very attractive. The grounds were neat, and everything was clean and attractive.

We liked the quality of the assisted living unit of the Courtyard at Mt. Tabor. The staff was very knowledgeable and very positive. I was invited for a meal, but I did not stay. I saw the menu, and they had a lot of choices. They can eat whenever they want. It was more like a restaurant than a dining hall. They had a really good variety of activities like concerts and shopping trips. The grounds were quite lovely. It was next to Mt.Tabor Park which was really beautiful, but the grounds themselves are really well taken care of, particularly from the back of the building. It was very nice.

We did visit Courtyard at Mt. Tabor, but they didn't have a vacancy. The gentleman that toured with us was very accommodating. He knew we weren't going to be a good fit, but he still spent quite a bit of time helping us through this process. The facility is too big for my mother-in-law. She needs something a little quieter. So for our purposes, it was not a good fit. I can probably recommend it.

I visited Courtyard at Mt. Tabor and I liked it very much. I was very impressed with it. It was near my daughter. The lady who was there was very helpful and informative. I had a very nice tour. If I wanted to, I could have gone back and spend the night there, talked to people, and had meals, but I didn't pursue that because I thought it wouldn't be nice to do that if I wasn't going further with it. It looked like a very busy place with lots of activities. They had everything. They had a library. They had book groups. People played games. They had transportation to go outings. However, it was too big for me and probably out of my budget.

I visited some communities, and one of them was Courtyard at Mt. Tabor. The staff was great. They were very informative, and they kept in touch with us. I talked to the director and the social workers there, and they were very friendly and nice. We had lunch there and the food was excellent. They have different apartment sizes. They had a studio, one bedroom, and they were of a large size. They did have a list of activities, and we also talked to some of the residents. Actually, the whole facility was very nice. I can't say one bad thing about them actually.

Courtyard was cheery, clean and attractive. They had friendly staff. They took them out to shop once a week. I don't know if they go on fieldtrips because the people that I visited there was too far gone to go on trips but they just seemed to be pleased that they were there. They seemed to be having good care.

Courtyard was a very nice place and the people who showed me around were very nice. The independent living apartments are extremely small and even the one bedroom apartment with a balcony.
