"My mom is a resident of The Woodlands of Hamilton. It's a smaller community. I love The Woodlands. They're attentive. if somebody's not here, they pick up the beat, nobody misses. It's a well-organized place. Even in chaos, it is organized. Everybody gets the same care, which is wonderful. If somebody doesn't make it to work, somebody else always steps up and goes, "I got this. Don't worry about it." That's what I like about it and I didn't see that in other places I was at. On Thursdays, we have music with Doug. We love Doug. We sit outside and there are rocking chairs, and then we go down to the parlor and we have snacks after we sing. They do puzzles all the time. Right now, they're out there and they're doing Bible study, which I think is wonderful. They knock on the door for everything, for lunch, for breakfast, for dinner, and activities. They keep them very involved. I'm very happy here. They do a wonderful job here. I told my family if something happened to me today, this would be the place that you're going to put me. She has a studio. She's got a small refrigerator, that's just for drinks, a small microwave, a sink, then the big bathroom. It's a studio, but it's a pretty good size. We have a twin bed, a recliner, a small kitchen table, and two curio cabinets. They don't allow anybody to sit. They want everybody up and moving. It's the coordinator that makes the difference here. She is unbelievable. I like the way they bill here. Everybody is even keeled here. I've been in another place where they charged to walk her to lunch and she's got a walker. For what we get, that's laundry, food, bathing, all of that, value for money is OK. It's very comfortable for us. They can do Medicaid here, too. I really don't have anything bad to say. The person that used to fix the food is no longer here and they've got somebody new, but they seem to be OK. If they're having a hamburger and somebody can't have it, they'll go, "What do you need?" They're very attentive, like, "Would you like a bowl of soup?" They're just nice people. I don't think they tolerate somebody not being nice around here."
