Gates Mills Club was a very nice place. The staff was great, and the activities were great, too. They do tours to Walmart and the casinos, and the doctors. They had a beauty salon. It was the nicest one I visited, so far.

My dad moved into Gates Mills Club. It has been very good. It is one of the largest assisted living units that I found, square footage wise. So my dad was able to take a lot of his personal furniture with him, which made him feel good. Everybody has been very helpful and accommodating. I haven't had any issues. My dad says the food is very good. Every day they have something posted, and it's either a bingo or a movie. Every week, my dad gets a memo in his room about what the activities are each day. My dad has a one-bedroom apartment, and it's a very nice size.

Gates Mills Club, Active Senior Living is beautiful. It's nice and it's got everything that a person would want. There's no smoking. The apartment that I toured was beautiful, but the only thing I didn't like about it is that you've got people sitting around waiting to receive $50 which I don't think is fair. The staff showed me all the amenities like where they eat, the laundry room, where they do class. It was nice and I loved it. The staff who gave the tour was nice. She knew her business, and she's doing what she was supposed to do. The facility itself is beautiful and they have a salon, they have the craft room, she showed me the dining area, a computer room and they have a library. They have nurse staff onsite, they have people who clean your apartment and take care of things for you.

Gates Mills Club was OK. It was kind of small, as I remember, and fairly clean. The staff person that did the tour with was nice. I did talk to one of the people there who really enjoyed living there, and that was kind of helpful. It was a high-rise, and I didn’t like that.

My mom was at Gates Mills Club, which is a senior independent place. It was a beautifully kept building. The staff there is wonderful. The dining area is very clean. They're very professional, almost like a restaurant. They're excellent in making sure that the seniors have enough to do in their idle time. They bring in a lot of outside resources, such as local choirs or different pianists. They have a crafts show, movie night, bingo, and they do shopping trips. They'll take them into the local community and to any malls or stores that they need to go to. They have a weekly ladies luncheon for all the ladies, and then they have one with the gentlemen where they all take them to a restaurant and they go and have lunch together, which is excellent. They offer trips to the local casino if anybody wants to go there. I absolutely love it. The cost was very reasonable considering all that they offer. If there are any problems, they go ahead and take care of them right away.
