This is a lovely facility staffed with caring and generous staff members and volunteers. Mom's room was so fresh and we decorated so that she felt right at home with draperies and furniture. Staff was always helpful and available, even if we had to wait for a few moments while the finished up with another resident. Daily mass was a wonderful part of the facility, meals were good, and the chef often visited the dining room to see what resident feedback was. Activites were a big part of the joy of living there. Mom was very happy there and I would recommend the Villas.

My uncle will move into Villas at St. Therese. I like the friendliness of the people. The supervisor who took us around knew each resident by name. All of the residents were very friendly and said hello to my uncle as we were taking him through. The biggest thing that attracted him is that they have a daily Catholic mass and rosary service so that faith-based community was a very positive aspect for him. It was very clean. I didn't notice any odor. Everything was very clean. We went into a couple of different rooms, and the rooms were well-kept. I didn't notice any soiled carpeting or anything like that. They have a large activities room where they offer bingo and movie nights, and all kinds of games and puzzles. They have a dedicated library space, and there are a couple of magnified readers in the spaces as well as magnified readers throughout the facility that people can take the books and read if they have diminished eyesight. They have a little kind of a snack area, an ice cream bar where the residents can get a scoop of ice cream for a quarter. They have a little church altar set up and things that remain all the time for the daily mass. They offer exercise classes twice a week, and activities every single day.

Every time I visit I notice the Nurses and Aides are nowhere to be found! If they are located, they may or may not be able to understand what you are saying to them. Many foreigners work here and my friend avoids asking for assistance because the nurse or aide plays dumb and it makes her uncomfortable. Sad she can't get the help she pays good money for. I think this place is the pits !

Villas at St. Therese was very well appointed. It was within our range. You could take meals as an option. The rooms were very nice. They were in the process of redoing the common areas and they had their design boards. It was very professional. The staff was excellent. They were working on the service of taking you to appointments, drug store or grocery stores. I thought the price was good. They had 1 and 2 bedrooms both at the $1,100 to $1,375 price range and it included the utilities and the laundry room and storage area, common areas. They had internet rooms, beauty salons, barber shop, and ice cream counter.

Villas at St. Therese has been excellent and very positive. The rooms are comfortable, they have all the right equipment, and they are up-to-date and nice. My dad loves the food, but I haven't eaten there myself. It is a nice dining room with cloths and napkins -- the whole nine yards. They have Bingo, brain teaser exercises, exercises, and movie nights. They play games, cards, and dominoes; they do a lot of good stuff.

They have a complete facility. If you need nursing home, they have that. They have independent living and assisted living, and I was very impressed with it. They had excellent staff, very knowledgeable and very caring. It's nice to know that if you become ill, you don't have to leave the premises. In fact, I'm really leaning toward going The Villas at Saint Therese.

It was a lovely place, but they didn't have a lot of amenities for me. I only met the office staff so it was kind of hard to make a decision. They didn't even have a shuttle bus and I'm visually impaired so I rely heavily on that.
