The staff is friendly and caring. The first time we encounter this facility is when my mother was in a car accident and broke her hip. My Mother is like most 82 year old (she was 80 @ the time), 'pretty settled in their ways'. My mother only eat at the same restaurant and prefer her meals generally seasoned with the typical salt, pepper, seasoning salt seasoning. Not only did my mother raved about how well the meals where prepared, she very seldom asked the family to bring her a meal outside of what was being served at Victoria. My mother also raved about the staffs kindness toward her and how well her room was cleared. My mother stay Victoria was 4 months. When and if we have a concern they were efficient in their response. My mother's care was stellar. I rated the facility a 4 because their is always room for improvement . We did how a discrepancy with an evening weekend staff member, but none the less the concern was resolved quickly. Now we are face with other unexpected occurrence. My sister had two aneurism and when we were in need of long time care, with very little thought Victoria Retirement Center was 1st on our list. This is a Great facility, the residence seems happy and content. Thank you Victoria for the love and support you give your residents and their Families.
