I would say that Marjorie P. Lee Retirement Community was very welcoming when we got there. It felt very nice as we walked in. They had valet parking available, which was good because there was no place to park on the street. We waited a while for someone to take us on tour. We didn't feel welcomed when we walked in; however, the person who finally took us on tour was very, very nice. We had lunch there. I had a sandwich that was supposedly a chicken salad sandwich. The bread was very dry, and you had to look for the chicken salad. It was very disappointing. With regards to the building itself, it was very clean but very old. The apartment itself was okay. I could have lived in the apartment, but it had a balcony that protruded from the building, and I was afraid to even step out there on it. I did not feel like it was a safe structure. The place is very old, and this was a concrete block that stuck out from the house. It looked like there was minimal support. I was afraid of that. Overall, their dining room was nice, and the apartment was nice, but the food was bad.

Excellent staff, and the necessary care extended was very good. Marjorie P. Lee was very well-kept, very attractive, and excellent food. There were some activities planned every day -- very active schedule. They have sing-along, a number of speakers, and forums on the news and happenings. I was most impressed with the staff. They were very responsive to me.

My mother is so happy she has made her home here. The facility is beautiful, the people are helpful and caring. Her apartment is so beautiful, looking over gardens and a patio. The places is spacious and elegant. Can't say enough about this facility. A great place to make your home.

Amenities are excellent. They offer a pool, workout room and rehabilitation center. Living quarters offer large to small rooms fully furnished or unfurnished as well as room service that delivers food and cleans the room.There is security all hours of the week that does routine checks. The facility is nicely decorated with paintings, carpet and wood trimming. Feels very homey. Staff is very nice and always willing to help others and cater to the residents needs. Offers a great central location in Cincinnati with a good view on most living locations. Building and gardens are very well kept, which maintains the homey atmosphere. other residents seem to really enjoy living at the Marjorie P. Lee and always have a smile on their face!
