Pleasant Pointe Assisted Living

My loved one is currently at Pleasant Pointe. We chose it because his wife has been there for a couple of years, and he gets to be in the same building with her. That was the main reason why we picked it. Their menu has a variety, so it’s not the same thing every week. They also have a lot of activities that he can participate in to stay active. Their rooms are small.

We visited Pleasant Pointe. They were very effective in answering all our questions. They gave us a complete tour of the facility and explained what each of their major rooms was used for. They showed two different suites. One was a one-bedroom with a bathroom and a little kitchenette, and the other one was two rooms with a little sitting room, a bedroom, a little kitchenette, and a bathroom. They talked about prices. They brought a nurse up to talk about medical needs, and if there was anything that we had questions about, she was there to answer that, All the residents were very friendly. The people that we talked to were very friendly and helpful. It was clean and has lots of light and lots of windows. Overall, it was absolutely a good visit.

The staff is very friendly at Pleasant Pointe. The facility in terms of its updatedness, is better compared to the other facilities I've visited, except for their dining room as it needs some updating. Their rooms seemed too small and mostly, they have semi-private homes. I am not sure about their activities as I did not see any.

Pleasant Pointe was very nice. It was also new and clean. Everybody seemed happy there. It seemed like a very nice place. They did have a variety of rooms to choose from and they were of good sizes. Overall, it was a very nice facility and I would recommend this place to others.

This is a very beautiful assisted living. Her Room included a living room, kitchen, bathroom and one bedroom. They had a beautiful dining room where breakfast, lunch and dinner was served. They always had a menu with two main entrees to choose from for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the food was amazing. They also had a snack bar that you could go and get a snack whenever you wanted one or you could ask one of the caregivers to bring you something when you needed it. They have a movie room with a big screen projector and every day they show a different movie twice a day. They had various arts, crafts and activities as well as a game room where card games and board games can be played. They also had a private bus where on fridays you could go to different stores, and out to lunch for a day out of the facility. They also had different activities set up outside of the facility. The caregivers are very friendly and professional. They care deeply for everyone that lives at the facility and would do anything to make them feel comfortable. I would recommend Pleasant Pointe to anyone because this facility is amazing!!
